the reason i've suggested this anyway is that unit ad channels generally generate drama that spills into other chats and is just a waste of time for mods.

a better way to handle a unit ad channel would be to make an entirely separate server, as it keeps the drama and nonsense isolated.

i would be willing to run this if approved. i'm a moderator over at combat waffle studios (the guys behind ghosts of tabor vr) so i'm not a total idiot

Might be worth making sure rule 8 enforces no unit talk in this server as well. Drama would still happen in general chats when two idiots collide even if theres a whole different server to contain it

Any game with an organized or regiment component will have good and bad

but the good always outweigh the bad. In fact, regiments often keep games alive

regiments provide a rock, a base of support for the devs. The clans then benefit from new players joining the game

Ive been a clan leader/in clan leadership for 5 years at this point

the big thing here is that most of those games have older player bases and are harder to get into then a milsim that can be picked up nad played like a toddler. and an older player base kind of means a more civil place but remember this game will be filled by children at one point
