Petition for the return of old parkour

The developers promised to make a survey about parkour, but they didn't do it.

Previously, you could climb obtuse and sharp angles using your hands. You could also climb trees. In general, parkour worked better and your hands weren't like sausages).

I don't understand why this had to be cancelled if they added ladders that you can use to climb onto the bases?

Old parkour made it so only a specific shape of very large base was unclimbable. I think everyone needing to have a giant circle base to prevent that feels sort of lame, ladder system makes it even

You could have a small semi honey comb base and it won’t be that big or noticeable and will still ward off climbers

And plus I feel like removing the parkour was like removing a key feature for the game and replacing it with a feature that limits the ability for more strategical and interactive better raids and just in general burning the last piece of the 1000 piece puzzle.

I'm not against ladder. Just make it possible to climb some bases without ladders, like before. And there's still a helicopter that can drop people on the roof. Also bring back the ability to slide down a mountain, that was also a cool feature.

They said the sliding was an "exploit" I do agree that they should bring it back though. I loved going mock 10 down a hill for fun

Some of these features could be nerfed but I think that the hill sliding was a unique gameplay methods that added a little more strategy to the game. You could also make it were very sharp edges can be climbed but others can’t become with the ability of climbing it allows for players to use there mind and have to have a plan for a base instead of just slapping down the most outrageous piece of 4th dimensional shapes ever seen.

If they were to add it back (which Im not against) there’d have to be a speed limit, so you can only go let’s say 1.5x normal walking speed, or something, or maybe add a sled item that lets you slide down hills

Sure is fun and was fun when it was in the game, but it also made it a nightmare because you would have people just climbing up your base and plus now we have ladders, which makes it where we can do that but it’s balanced

The issue with old climbing is the only defense was to make a certain shape of base. Ladders are a little more controlled in that a certain shape can't prevent climbing and they can be countered by just removing them or destroying them. Personally, I hated that you needed a giant circle to stop people from climbing before and I like that now climbing has a cost associated with it

Even if it's just the shit to build ladders you can take it from attackers and prevent it
