Really is a big chunk of time wasted when you're trying to fix/upgrade/expand the base when you have to basically raid your own walls due to the timer disabling the ability to demolish. Could make it so you have an item that only can demolish structures you built. I was gonna say any building you have core access to but I feel that may be problematic.

Just don’t place a wall you know you will break. big tip is learn base building and expanding from like a 2 by 1, so you don’t need to break anything. I mean this idea isn’t bad but it can be avoided

The reason to prevent demolishing after 5 minutes is people will abuse it. If I could destroy pieces easily you can bet I'd be logging out in a doorless base lol. People would wall in all the good loot too
