Concept for GvG / PvP content and guild territory plot systems
So, i've been a long time RO player and through all these years i never felt an adequate fulfillment on playing RO gvg/pvp and i would like to suggest some thoughts and concepts for a competitive and fun gvg system that encourage players to participate and does not excludes players who are not interested in pvp.

To me the main feature for a GvG system to be competitive and appealing is that competition among guilds should have a reward in form of a resource, like territories with more exp/droprate, better crafting rates, resource colection or receiving taxes from territories like cities.

Core idea: Every map and city should have an guild outpost available to be claimed by a guild and securing these outposts gives the guild an advantage position on the map like having specific npcs (healers, storages, tool dealers) and the guild can choose to make them open to public usage for free or with a tax for the services (like zeny/drop/exp % and for cities a tax on the items sold on the market). The guilds could invest on the territory economy increasing the npc benefits, monster numbers, drops, exp; With this idea there should be more than one map with the same variety of monsters so that players can choose what guild they support while farming.

Guilds could wage war on territories by scheduling a set time of the week (preferably having different time zones for equivalent territories so you can have a territory that goes on war on the europe peak hour, another for the americas and so on), they would need to attack the territory through a warcamp (a neutral zone where anyone can set an attack to the surrounding territories) or an adjacent territory. The guild would keep that territory until another guild defeats them and claims it. The set time is also a good way from preventing bigger guilds from fighting smaller ones with less resources so they have to direct their members to secure the more lucrative ones.

Territory war could be fought in small teams (3v3,5x5,10x10) so that guilds could direct their strongest members to defend strategic positions and when the territory is in a city a bigger group would need to attack/defend(20x20, maybe the whole guild).

This idea is heavily inspired by albion online gvg system, imo the mmorpg with the best pvp system that inspires strategic alliances, political arrangements and betrayals.

(this idea was kinda rushed in, i was asleep and it came to me in a dream so i had to rush and write it down so i would not forget) so please discuss

What if everyone, even people not from a guild could join the battle to help it's preferred guild? There could be a log of who fought and did more damage during the fight available for the guild masters to see so they know who fought on their side and did better, this way the guild could reward players that helped them but are not really associated with the guild, it would also allow guilds to hire mercenaries.
