QOL request that would help a lot with crafting— being able to directly craft, smelt, and other “creation” activities by also automatically grabbing ingredients from nearby chests, instead of needing to have it in your direct inventory.

I would like some kind of chest sharing because I want my crafting stuff to be in my attic but its so inconvenient to get to...most convenient is right outside my house but then i cant access my chests and crafting from my other house locations....
