Now the most valuable strategy is "just double most powerful crop you have".
You can combine +/- crops, but result is not worth it. x2 combo is always better.

How to fix it:

  • +/- crops should be much stronger than pure ones
  • Most of crops should be mixed, may be except for Psychic (holly) and Dark (cursed)
  • Add combinations that are revealed by using exact types of fertilizer to reduce all negative effects.
  • Strong and weak crops should be evenly distributed throughout seasons.
  • Come up with something interesting for EXP crops. Now you can just feed it to you spirits raw, brewing EXP concoction is worthless.
  • Alchemy should remove stamina effect, we have cooking for it. And it also worthless.

Extra wishlist:

  • High-tier Alchemy Lab that allows to mix more ingredients
  • Different types of filtration medium with different effects:
  • amplify/reduce effects
  • transform one effect to another
  • reverse values
  • reduce ingredient usage
  • Extraction station, that allows you to extract one exact effect from mixed crops, but reduced to half. And then use it as extra reagent in high-tier Lab to reduce unwanted effects or as a crafting ingredient in Anvil/Enchanter/Cauldron.
  • Add really rare ingredients, that you can not just grow in the garden in an unlimited number

(note about negative effects on concoctions: they are 100% ignorable anyway bcs you just feed them something cheap en masse to reverse the negative effect and dont worry about it)

the dark crops are most powerful positive with most powerful negative

also reversing values would be busted, bcs that allows making shield draining potions

the fix for not letting you just stack really high stat potions and ignore the negatives would have to be shift them around so you have some which flat contridict each other, aka you cant maintain all the stats you want with a really high + (even then it just limits you a little, and not stops it properly)

Or just do not let use more than one before battle (next overrides previous).
In battle if you are stronger than enуmy, you don't need strong potions.
If enemy is stronger, you will have no time to stack imb-stats, so it makes no sense to limit them.
