I used to play OG harvest moon on a snes emulator. my little sister still remembers us playing this together. with the emulator you could also do all kinds of sneaks like making it so you could walk through surfaces, which introduced a glitch where you could propose marriage to all of the girls in town at the same time, and then have them all stationed all over your farm 😂

I didn't have much expectations for farm games until Stardew valley came about

it truly was slow paced farm life...only thing is that you can use exploits and become rich as heck

these days, the same way of prompting doesn't work...because models are much more accurately trained

if you say Stardew valley...it does give you that exactly

that just killed alot of my styles straight up

and newer models dont allow copying artist style so there goes another customizer in the bin

modern prompting is dumbed down and made very simple so everyone can do it. Sadly that only means it will get way more complex later

still modern era...everyone is still asking GPT to generate their prompts

GPT can't even generate its own prompts well, lol. It's all filled with unneccesary rubbish that takes up space...longer the prompt...more details it'll miss.

Hm not sure! I think the key thing is, sometimes it can only do like max 67MP just because to do another multiplier would take it over the 105MP limit. So there’s surely a sweet spot of starting image dimensions

You might also try using creative mode, to get more detail changes on a 2x upscale

Posted! What's really exceptional about the upscaler is that it addresses the shortfall with cheaper generations. I made two generations with the same prompt, one using GPT2-Low and one using GPT2-High. The original gen on High was a lot nicer than the original gen on Low, of course, however after Upscaling they're both really nice.

So that's great, you can use GPT2-Low to try out ideas, and then use the upscale on the gens that actually worked out.

The only caveat I've found is with text. The upscaler if used directly will upscale garbled text, but it won't de-garble it.

Using the gen with garbled text as an image reference, and creating a new higher res gen with the text repaired though, does work. You can then upscale that image if still needed.

I wanted your honest opinion on something. I recently got back into an old account and found out I lost all my unused tokens just because my subscription expired. I understand losing premium features, but I really didn’t expect my remaining credits to be completely wiped. That feels pretty extreme to me and honestly not something most people would expect without carefully reading policies. Who actually thinks their unused credits will just disappear like that? It feels misleading, but I’m curious what you think.

I did contact support I'm just looking for further insight from other parties. I think I have the ultimate I'm not sure if prices changed but I was paying 60 dollars monthly. I dont know what a rollover is.

Initially when the plans were first launched, you got a certain number of tokens per month, and at the end of the month they simply reset. so if I had 58k tokens sitting there in my account because I hadn't used it all month, when my sub ticked over, those tokens with evaporate and be replaced by a new 60k tokens. people requested that they have a way to retain at least some of their monthly tokens, so they added the rollover bank. basically you can store up to 3 months of whatever your current plan is, so if you have the top tier, you can store 180k, but then if you downgrade to the bottom tier, you'll only keep 75k max in the bank, regardless of what you had saved up from the previous month. but so it allows subscribers to have fluctuating usage month to month, and keep a chunk of tokens in reserve. your plan still resets at the start of the month, as before, but the difference is that you also retain some of what was unused in previous months.

free subscriptions don't have a rollover bank, so what I'm surmising from what you describe is that you had 120k tokens store in rollover, but when your account was downgraded to free, those were no longer stored up. if you cancel or downgrade manually, it does make a point of telling you that this will happen, but if the account is downgraded automatically due to for instance an expired card, you wouldn't see this warning.

I tried a fairly simple scene intending to work up to a street view of cyberpunk tokyo for a project. got flagged, started removing keywords. I ended up with "cyberpunk" as the entire description and it still got flagged.

Some of our upstream providers have multi-level filters, both on the prompt and also on the result. Lucid Origin is a Leonardo in-house model, and not subject to the more stringent upstream filters from openai and google.

I'm honestly not sure why cyberpunk would trigger moderation. Did it actually say it had failed for moderation reasons, or was it a generic failure? Were you using a reference image?

I tried that with GPT images and Google VEO but I am not getting the results that I want 🙁 So I was looking at other image models, either paid subs or local models. I tried stable diffusion but it's still not doing what I need it to. So I was looking elsewhere and might give leonardo a try. Just wanted to check if people have had success in leonardo

Also VEO is kinda expensive haha. My experimentation with prompts and set up cost me a LOT.

The thing that makes GPT2 the no contest go to for me is how cheap it is in token cost.

So much easier to prototype and experiment at 8-30 tokens per gen rather than the 80 for Nano2 or 140 for Nano Pro.

And then either the new pro upscaler as the secret sauce for images that are basically what you want but just not shiny enough, or use as image ref for GPT2-Medium if you need to improve the quality and fix/improve something.

It’s totally changed how I’m able to work with Leo having these as tools. 🧰

Hello all, new here (and AI in general), and stumped on something. I trained a model/element/dataset or whatever we want to call it. I used SDXL 1.0 as the model, but when I got to generate images there's no options for it. From the "Job Status" screen, "generate with this element", still doesn't use my model. I've already made 3 datasets, and none have worked correctly. I improved my pictures, before I tried the SDXL.. am I pretty much forced to use FLUX-dev? Thank you in advance, especially if someone takes the time to help.

Suggestion to re-add the functionality of queing more than 1 upscale at a time. I generally que up 4 or 5 different upscales at a time and pick the one that works the best. Now? I have to sit here and wait, queing each one, one after another, waiting for each one to finish. Probably not going to work out for me. The before and after slider has changed so that you have to grab it with your mouse? And, what if you're zoomed in and the slider isn't on screen? It doesn't work.

Yes, but you have to load each picture over and over with unnecessary gymnastics. Everything they've done seems to have been done by people that don't actually use Leondardo. They keep gutting the simple functionalities the original devs added.
