Why can phoenix only do one of the image guidance types? It used to be able to do like five or six of them what's going on?

Maybe I was wrong maybe it was just in lightning and the older models weird

Sucks to not be able to go in and modify the images using the smoothing. We can generate 4Kx8 images but we can't go in an upscale with smoothing. I upscale with the lowest setting just so that it'll do smoothing

yeah, I don't recall them being able to do more than one at once, but it's been a while since I used phoenix, so I may have missed it. I think they found that image quality degraded in testing, when they combined guidance types.

When using Gemini Pro 3 to edit images the Leonardo site saves the image as a jpeg on site and after multiple edits of the same image the jpeg artifacts compound and degrade the image a lot. Please consider using .png for lossless file saving.

Yes, maybe niche in leonardo platform, but for many people outside of leonardo may also do that, there are many application beside just for project or preset, style, character, certain object are commonly trained, you can achieve detail of varation through using trained model weight on top of big model's output, and it's mainly used for filling the gap that certain big model lacks or give it alternative option for more accurate styling to it's output, but yes, if you can get your desired outcome, there are no practical reason to consider to train a model.

A year ago or so your models would always use the same face and then I understood that I needed to use training to get a different human being to show up. Having come from MJ which produces thousands of different faces it felt like having to train the model was tedious. But now we get different faces here also.

Usually you want the panels to read in simliar to an S-shape, but you can bend the rules with some stylized elements or characters popping out of frame. Just don’t keep every panel completely static. When the characters are talking, change the angle, shift the focus, or adjust the background so the flow doesn’t feel stiff.

You can set up the layout by making a simple reference image and using that as the guide for the comic. Using character images as references also helps a lot — it saves context space and keeps the generated results stable.

You can also generate each panel with Nano Banana and then put them together yourself. That gives you more control, but it’s harder to keep everything consistent and smooth across the sequence.

I used to feel that way. But a picture is worth 1000 words. You can offload a lot onto a picture and then specialize your prompt with much stronger tokens that don't address the things in the picture.

Not that this is necessarily easier because the model very strongly tries to imitate the picture. So even on the weakest of settings you find yourself fighting the image reference

I have also reported the images in-app, and passed it on to admin here in the server as well.

I kinda figured NB is the way to go, so thanks, but wasn't sure if there was a way of dialing in a realistic avatar and how well the model worked, seems like if it used the same backend as Nano, it would be insanely useful, and if it could be used to create different styles of photos and videos easier...

I find that getting to the model to create a model of it accurately isn't the easiest experience, as it takes looking through the totorial or knowing how to use Nano, which is cool... But, it sounds like the process involves continuing to fine tune the images, which could be a fun experiment, certainly fun to create a character from scratch.

I'm hoping more models get added. For example, to be able to quickly use your character in other models and to create all types of different photo types would be helpful. Maybe this is possible, but it doesn't seem intuitive. Loving all of the options and customizations. I think I may take a stab at creating videos that talk about some of these different features at some point.

For example, for character building and models, the layout puts it way too many layers deep, in elements, and character consistency is becoming the most important and most used feature for content creators. Using a charcater (despite the character reference feature which is great) might be able to be presented easier with a few ui tweaks.

Super cool stuff though. This app is so sick. The Flow feature alone is something that would be insane to use with a Consistent character.

Nano banana is top of the line, it uses natural language. Though it might do you good if you see use cases or explore blueprints to have a better clue of what it can do supposedly. I can attest that its great for storyboarding, consistent characters and you can use the images to generate a story even in nano banana however you must be careful about size of imagery before animating I really wasted alot before realizing I had generated from small images and it looked wonky when I went fullscreen video

I made 2 more however one had extra hand mistake and another one had quality issues...sadly

its best to double or triple check the images and videos you are gonna use to create stuff

I like the result, but it could be better overall. The movements could be smoother, and the details clearer. The prompt wasn't followed exactly. And the quality of the reference image is, in my opinion, better than the character in the video. I was expecting a bit more. But I also have to admit that I don't have much experience with video prompting. So it could be my fault. I will watch some film tutorials if i play with videos more. I've already made a very short film with a start and end frame, which turned out very well. However, I spent several hours on that one. So I'm satisfied with the one or two minutes I spent on this one above. I think if I made more of these, planned everything out, etc., and then edited it, I could get a pretty decent result. @cursive flicker

Before I got into relax mode I was doing smaller images and then upscaling the ones which I liked. I suspect this uses a lot less GPU. But they gotta turn that feature on when you're out of credits. Maybe put a slow timer on it so you can only use it once every 5 to 10 minutes or so that way you don't have people upscaling their entire library for free.

Just out of curiosity, is there a way to delete multiple images under the Your Uploads Tab? Hey, I ran into a really bad bug. I accidentally hit Enter four times, thinking I was editing a text file, but I was actually still in the prompt input area. That ended up launching four parallel jobs with the same prompt, and I lost 4,000 credits.

You really need to add some kind of STOP button. The moment I realized I’d pressed Enter in the browser instead of the text editor, there was nothing I could do to cancel the jobs, so all those credits were just gone.

Is there any way to recover those credits or to request a STOP feature so this doesn’t happen again?
