Question... Idk if anyone else has noticed this, but for a while now...

In the image library there used to be a tab with upscale images. It's been gone. Did it move else where? I really liked that feature a lot. It really helped me kept track of what photos were upscaled. Now I have no idea what photos are upscaled unless I manually go through all of the images one by one.

oh was using ultra also for many of these results

how come I cannot use the refiner on the original unupscaled version? It only tries to upscale or sees the latest alchemy upscale. It will not allow me to do it again, why? If it is a problem with overwriting give me a warning so I can do this. They are my credits to burn.

Also why can I not ungroup images from the upscales? They all just follow the original arround and make it imposssible to select the original.. mm I wonder if a work around is to use the newer upscale and then it will see that?

Heya! The alchemy refiner is an older tool, that initially only expected one resulting upscaled image. In response to user feedback, they added the ability to have one image per combo of refiner settings. In order to re-attempt that group of settings on the same image, you can delete the one it created already, and run it again to create a new image in its place.

Indeed three months is a long time to wait 🤔 I’d start to ask question too if I was in that situation.

I couldn’t look too deep into it, but here’s my hypothesis (100% unchecked, so don’t quote me on that 😅). I know the affiliate program changed recently, a couple months back (can’t remember exactly when though). So maybe your submission was right during that migration and got through the cracks.

Also, from the website, you can use the support button to open a ticket with the team. Check for the purple chat bubble at the bottom of the screen to get in touch.

Hi, I'd say depends on type of image, starter size and whether you need controllable parameter. alchemy is on cheaper side, but most of the time that is all you needed. if you want insane detail, goes for very high resolution then go for ultra.

New to leonardo, what is this alchemy?! I see only legacy and ultra in upscaler ( I am uploading images on leo for upscaling, not upscaling generated ones). I see legacy upscaled images have higher details then ultra ones

Ah, alchemy upscale is only for generated ones. Alchemy is like 2nd generation of model, now it is like 4 or 5 now.

For external upscale

• I recommend Ultra mode. Cheaper yet has few options for control fine detail vs faithful to original.
• Legacy is crazy expensive but comes with preset and prompt if you want to fix some details (but I dont think prompt on upscale really helps).

Thanks. I tried ultra and legacy on external image, but it always seems like legacy gives more detail, then the ultra one at the same resolution. I'm not sure why, if they have different mechanisms in the backend. But legacy does add some artifacts here and there. If legay generated output was not even in question to get compared with ultra one, ultra could have just done fine. But after seeing legacy details, I feel like going there, but it's expensive.

i'm not en expert in training elements, so personally can't help you, sorry. and i'm fully aware that the answers given by bot aren't always satisfying. there are users that are really skilled in this and willing to help, the problem is, how to catch them online lol. we used to have a mentoring option, we probably still do, but no idea how this works and what is the command to 'summon' the mentor

Hey! Anything that’s consistent through your images will be strongly trained into the element, so if they all have black backgrounds, you will find that almost all of the images you create with it will have black backgrounds as well. This can be lessened by reducing the strength of the element when you use it to generate, but that will reduce how closely it fits your training data overall. One thing you could do is put some of them in as reference images for the Nano Banana model, and make the instruction things like “change the background to a brightly lit interior” or “change the clothing to blue”

Nano is actually pretty spectacular at keeping the same face, while changing other aspects of the image.

Hmm… you can try with Nano Banana. It’s SUPER powerful with reference images (but a little pricy token wise).

It uses natural language prompts. So you can add your two images and use a prompt like “Combine these two images as one where each character is visible” or something like that.

Most sound effects are easy-wind, rain, waves, etc.
Gunfire is tricky and needs a few audio layers to sound good.
As well as a bunch of real field recordings-recording the shell casings dropping on various surfaces (later today) 😉

Ofc, you can buy firearm sample packs online, but they are quite expensive.
However, they are very high quality recordings, so I would recommend them to anyone who doesn't have the audio equipment to make their own.

I am not sure where to post this, but I have a question they could possibly end up being a suggestion. Is it possible (could it be possible in the future) to be able to add more than one REFERENCE IMAGE? for instance I'm working on a team logo but I want to put a different body on the head of their original logo. So basically I want to reference two different images and make them one image result

thats already possible. but it depends on what model you use.
just keep in mind that the ai gets confused when multiple images get involved,so you may be better off doing your thing in multiple steps instead

Hey guys, how do you deal with the super short prompt length limit of Leonardo?
It seems to be the lowest limit of all image generation tools I use, seriously limiting the use of json-style image prompts.

Just from personal experience, I never had to use very long prompts and didn’t feel limited. Especially now with the LLM powered models, I just need to make sure to know the specific terms of the art style and I just ask it with natural language.
Even more compounded with all the ways to use existing images as references for style, content and character consistency.

Is there a specific use case where you can’t get your result with a short prompt?

It's just a personal preference, I guess. I have a set of prompt templates that I've been using in tools like Midjourney or Krea. Some of them are probably over-engineered but I got used to using them. Especially for some of my images where I need them to be very specific, from the age, ethnicity and features of a model to architectural features to surroundings etc.

I must say that my prompts have evolved and changed as new models came out.

Older models were REALLY unpredictable and so longer prompts meant you had a higher chance of getting what you wanted (plus some placebo effects with terms like “4K, perfect resolution” and the likes 😅)

But now they are really good at incorporating everything in the results, so honing on the vital details will give more consistent results.

BUT! Still creating very long prompts still has it’s advantages when I don’t really know what I’m looking for and just want to throw everything and see what sticks (but then they released Flow State and now even that is outdated 🤣)

After close to a year and a half I finally got the app working and I'm going to switching back to the web because of the amount of pop-ups it has for all the different things that you guys have. You know how annoying that is if you already know everything that you have?

Because there are so many models I will frequently go through all of them with my prompt and evolve it as I go and see what I can squeeze out. I only do it with the sd/sdxl based local models

I think they have a point. Recent model like banana can handle very long context window and probably can handle more than 4000 characters and doing fine to adhering to details.
