Hi there! The one with presets is the "not legacy" mode. You can also tell it's not legacy if you see the option to use Phoenix. There aren't any plans to scrap legacy mode, since we have many users who like it a lot. but the v2 (not legacy) mode is quite stellar, and phoenix is amazing

Legacy has more older models like dreamshaper. Allegedly it's not going anywhere. If you are a free user then older models are cheaper to use

Thanks for the quick response! I'm still getting my footing so IDK which one I like best. My feedback would be that the "non-legacy" mode is more restrictive for free users like myself, who are trying to test everything, since it can only do 4 images a pop, with a minimum (as far as I can tell) of 8 tokens per generation. Whereas the legacy version let me spend 1 token per image with some models...

This is a matter of training data and not something intentional haha, the AI is simply most likely to create what is most common in its training data unless you specify otherwise. I actually seem to be getting Asian people a lot more than white people if I don't specify anything, but it does depend on the subject as well

You would be able to use them in combination.
Currently you don't have the full selection on Phoenix but this is the full-selection for the other models

Thanks for the reply. I was using "dog" as an example. Perhaps I should have used Cars and example. It's a powerful feature to blend say a full image of a car with image of a suitcase and end up with a car that has some design features and color highlights of the suitcase. Know what I mean? Now what the Blend tool in MJ still doesn't do is to allow to adjust the image influence of each uploaded image. Example you upload four images and you can adjust which image has more influence.

with Leo's image guidance options, you can supply the reference image/s and also tell it how much the ref image is supposed to affect the result.

HOWEVER. this is not unique to phoenix. phoenix is just the newest model to gain some access to it today.

Yes, so you would use the Car image with Content reference to get the positioning and compositon of the image. And then you'd add your Brief case image in, using Style Reference to get the colour palette and art style .

There are adjustments, Low, Mid, High for example. So you can control how much you want your reference images to effect the output image.

The are several Ai models out that allow you to upload 1 image and used it as a style reference. MJ is the only model so far that lets you "Blend" like this and I'm alway hoping other Ai models would off this feature.

Yup, I'm not a car designer but say you wanted to design a new direction or vibe of a car. If I ask you to design a compact car you already have preconcieved visual representations of what a compact car looks like. This BLEND tool is just another tool for seeing things differently, thus sparking new ideas. I'm using AI to design for but as a creative tool much like listening to music or watching a movie may spark an idea.
