what you're describing is the image guidance features. where you upload images, or use ones from your previous egenrations, and then decide in what style and how strong you wanna alter it with a new prompt.

Also, not all features of the webapp are supported through the API, I don't believe describing uploaded images is supported by it unfortunately

Hi there! The one with presets is the "not legacy" mode. You can also tell it's not legacy if you see the option to use Phoenix. There aren't any plans to scrap legacy mode, since we have many users who like it a lot. but the v2 (not legacy) mode is quite stellar, and phoenix is amazing

Legacy has more older models like dreamshaper. Allegedly it's not going anywhere. If you are a free user then older models are cheaper to use

Thanks for the quick response! I'm still getting my footing so IDK which one I like best. My feedback would be that the "non-legacy" mode is more restrictive for free users like myself, who are trying to test everything, since it can only do 4 images a pop, with a minimum (as far as I can tell) of 8 tokens per generation. Whereas the legacy version let me spend 1 token per image with some models...

This is a matter of training data and not something intentional haha, the AI is simply most likely to create what is most common in its training data unless you specify otherwise. I actually seem to be getting Asian people a lot more than white people if I don't specify anything, but it does depend on the subject as well
