I am huge fan of 8bit and 16bit graphics, to me no other art comes close, but I owned all gaming consoles so It's in my blood : P

I just have fun creating my own pixel art...... I have helped design a remake of an old game with someone, the game was "Jetpack - Refuelled" I created all 50 levels, I created an old space shooter called "Space Wing" on the Commodore Amiga, but that game is long gone

Yeah, that is another reason among a billion others why I love pixel art so much, like creating a characters face on a title screen with green, yellow and blue or something and still recognizable, though 16bit is my fav, I love all styles of arcade games from platformers to shooters and beyond, back when games were good, Street Fighter 2, Double Dragon, Pit Fighter, Ninja Warriors, Shadow Warriors, Rastan and plenty more.

Then they ruined Mortal Kombat after the 3rd game by trying to make it more realistic, sigh

Yeah, shouldn't have changed it, maybe add more frames of fluid animation or better backgrounds but don't change the digitized graphics t had, even the latest Street Fighters doesn't do it for me, I play them but they are, crap in my opinion, pixel art today has no limitations like memory restrictions in the past, so more animated frames, maybe swaying trees in the background, weather changes, reflections, this would be awesome in pixel art form, I take my hat off to all indie devs who create pixellated games today who help keep the style alive.

100% done by hand, a complete really good decent pixel art game can be done in 3-5 months, less depending on detail, back in the day, a lot of games were done in a few months because of the head bosses time frame they give the developers. Vector art style games can be cheated because of layers they use, so you can move body parts around without redrawing.

Hey all, been here since the start. Haven’t talked much but am saddened by the recent censorship… I am trying to make a succubus for a game, the prompt was allowed for numerous generations, then it says it is censored.

Is there a mod looking at each new generation and canceling select words as they are generated? What gives? Hard to know what prompt to use if it doesn’t highlight the word or offer a new prompt that is accepted.

Also… we are all adults here, well you should be lol, so why in the hell can we not allow “private” creations to have graphic content?
