You use the command “/suggestion suggest” and you write the thing you want to suggest.

It's a feature of "Image guidance", which means taking an existing image as a base and having the AI generate on top of it

Depth to Image in particular will use the base image a kind of "black and white" template to borrow the shapes, but it will recolor the result to match the scene/effect/style defined in the prompt

Do you want to know how to create images?

One way to do it would be to use Depth to Image, but it will change the main subject too

Or, you could use the canvas, mask the background and generate like that

The way I go about it, I simply use a free photo editing app (like Photopea or others), I get the background I want and paste the subject over it.

Do you want to know how to generate images?

Realtime Canvas works together with your drawing + your prompt.
My suggestion would be to enter what you're trying to generate in the prompt field first.
Then make a rough sketch / scribble fitting the image you want to create.
The AI should take care of all the hard work for you.

If you get something that's kind of close, but "not quite there"...
You can click the "output to input" button at the top.
This will transfer the generated image to the canvas and you can easily fix the small details.

Also have a look at the "Creativity strength" at the bottom.
If you put it up higher, the AI will get more wild and might add quite different things.
Keeping it lower, the AI will stick closer to the lines you draw.

It's most definitely optimized for PC, but it (might) function from mobile.
There's currently a bug where it doesn't center on the focused image when you load it at first.
You need to drag the canvas downward a bit to find it.

Hello......quick question...

How do I remove something from an image?
In my case, I'm trying to remove a tongue from a mans mouth (he has two). I've masked the tongue and have adjusted the Guidance and Inpaint setting to many different levels and it never once just removes the tongue. BTW, I do state "remove tongue" and "remove tongue from mouth" in the prompt.

I would think this should be relatively easy to do inside Leonardo

So the canvas, just like the image generation, is not ChatGPT 😄

It doesn’t take in commands, only keywords. So if you put « remove tongue » as a prompt, chances are likely that it will give a tongue (since it’s part of the positive prompts)

In case you're still struggling, I would recommend using the color picking/sketch tool to paint over the second tongue with what it should look like, and then put "tongue" in the negative prompt and "mouth" or "face" or something in the positive prompt

The thing is you can’t prompt on Stable Diffusion like you do on DallE. It uses a large language model (GPT-4) in the background … and that thing has the computing power of a small nation powering it 😅

The rest is litteraly just describing what's on the picture 😄

A cheatsheet would be hard to use, because you would have the list the words, but you would be missing the context

Best realization I had while learning it: it's as much about the prompt as the doodles 😄

I was trying to make the character smile... I swear I had like a dozen black lines to form the mouth...nothing.... I simply added "smile" to the prompt... and voila 😄

Yep. I know. Dalle generally gives me exactly what I want from the prompts given. I'll try 10 different prompts with Leonardo and still not get what I want when the statements are so simple and descriptive.

However Leonardo does have a ton of cool features and tools....I just wish their prompting was alot better.

You have to adapt to Stable Diffusion's way of prompting 😉

Use keywords to shorten the prompts, avoid commands in the prompt (like "place each character side by side" or "make him wear a red shirt") and avoid phrases. Keep descriptions at a minimum

No.....no I don't. I can just use Dalle instead. It works very well for what I need. If any when Leondardo improves their promptiing, I may try it in the future.

I think the difference in prompting has to due with the models honestly. If/when Leonardo implements Stability 3, prompting should be massively improved, due to Stability 3's inherent feature set

I think Midjourney is best at prompting, Dalle second place, and Stability is currently in third.

But if you put “sun” in the negative prompts, you greatly lower the chances of getting one

Leonardo is built on Stable Diffusion, while MidJourney and DallE are entirely different systems. Luckily, Stable Diffusion is constantly evolving - with every new version, prompt adherence gets better. And we will surely get those new SD versions on Leonardo as well.
