Mostly looking for character photos at this point. I like to have photos of all of my characters, just so I am not just "seeing" them in my head, but I can actually see them - if that makes sense

I agree. It can really throw a reader off, even when there are small discrepancies - like your novel begins with a character with ice blue eyes, that turn to coffee by Chapter 4.

Also, I have found this image to be useful in understand the concept behind the specific type of fine-tuning used for custom models here:

The training does pick up styling, as well, but where it excels at is image subjects. So Cami has trained a model on images of herself, and so she can insert herself as a subject in all kinds of images with all sorts of styles.

I would create the characters separately

And then I would join them together as a canvas

If you have an image you like already and the only thing wrong is the clothes, you can load that into Realtime Canvas and draw the right clothes on them.

Make sure you set the pen to the right color when you draw the clothes.
It will generate them in the color you use.

the most basic tip i can offer is that if you want to change parts of your image, you should erase them, not mask them. erase it, and mask the edges, to generate freshly over it

The Realtime Canvas seems to be outputting a 512 by 512 image, but when I upload a 512x512 it fills only half the canvas and I have to manually stretch it. Why?
