AI generally has a hard time keeping letters clean. You would probably be best served creating a rough source image of "MA" and using img2img to assist the generation. Take a look at https://discord.com/channels/989166677390426132/1101980163073396867 for an idea of the workflow

Hey guys, I have a question in relation to refining images. Do we have any professionals online?

Bear with me here. Ok, so, say I have generated an image that I liked parts of, and I had a super-hard time trying to get the inconsistencies fixed even in canvas. Managed to refine and delete bits and pieces, but for the life of it the refining prompt wouldn't do what it was supposed to, right?

Now, by some feat of magic I managed to refine the image to a point I thought I'd move it over to photoshop and fix some details myself. We're basically talking about a situation where the focal point (character) of the image is misplaced on a background that is otherwise therewards ok. My natural reaction as someone with some experience with PS and airbrushing is to cut out the character, shift it where it's supposed to be, refine some bits and pieces, and so on...

I'm thinking I'll just green-screen the left over trace of the character and fill in the gaps somehow. Of course, in hindsight, I'm thinking Leonardo might not be able to fill in the bright green, so I'm presented with a choice to either airbrush in the green remnants and whatever of the background is needed, so and so, therewards to satisfaction, or try to get Leonardo to fill in the bright green character silhouette on its own. So, which way should I go, airbrush in the silhouette or leave it as is and try to fill it in with Leonardo's canvas tools?

If you're trying to remix older images, there can be a bug sometimes where the button sends you back to the Generation page without seemingly copying the prompt. In this case, if you refresh the page, the remixed prompt should populate correctly

the images generated were not at all the the model, and instead of cat, it gave me dog

The prompt you use can make a big difference.
The AI sometimes gets things mixed up.
Any models can make mistakes, unfortunately.

I would reocmmend trying again with a different model.

I was trying to use the skin generator for 3D objects, just to see what it is all about. I found an OBJ file online of a lion and used that....got it uploaded into the generator. I just did lion as the prompt, it did its thing. I can see the skin in the little box but the skin doesn't appear on the object. The object just changes to a shade of yellow. i don't know what changed but befire when i did an image to image with strenght 0.3 it gave me all kind of nice variations that had the same athmosphere of teh image but still was complete differnt... but when i try that now i almost get the same image at strength 0.3 and when i go to 0.2 it does not give the nice variations anymore like before... it's alot harder to get nice images , although i use the same settingfs as before.Anyone else has this problem too?

Alchemy v2 has prompt magic always enabled. So best not to use Alchemy v2 when doing image 2 image if you want to manipulate the weights accurately

As I said, you cannot use Alchemy v2 without prompt magic

Alchemy v2 is only on the XL models

If you want the 'old' Alchemy where you can disable prompt magic, you need to use one of the non-XL models

The thing is that I believe there is a bug where if you have prompt magic enabled with image 2 image (so including Alchemy v2 which always has PM enabled), the weight gets "stuck" so whatever weight you put in will not matter, it will always have 1 set weight which you cannot change

i mean you gotta go with a couple attempts. since the AI uses some randomness, in the form of seeds. what if the one image you do gen comes out with a seed you dont like.. there'd be no way to see what you missed out on 🤷‍♂️

but yea. some people have just resigned on deleting the fails. (i still delete a lot)

Anyone know why ethnicities of subjects sometimes change after alchemy refinement? Some Asian subjects became Caucasian even on the low (not smooth) refiner setting. The originals were very clearly East Asian.

i dont mind that as much. i'm more bugged sometimes when it adds a kilo of makeup

but to be fair, the refiners are still fairly new. they may be improved in the near future 🙂 and there's also still the regular upscale options 👌
