Tod says that the use of "Master" is harmful. I am arguing that it lost that meaning and is a perfectly fine word to use, as "having mastered something" is the meaning in which it is being used. I am the descendant of slaves and am greatly affected by that history still, so I find it very uncomfortable when someone comes in here trying to speak for people saying Master is a problematic word.
