Unfortunately I don’t have permission for suggestions, so I’m trying it here.
Ever since I installed stable diffusion my laptop I was somewhat obsessed with those generators, so it’s fair to say, I think I tried them all. 😉
I absolutely love Leonardo.ai – which seems to be based pretty much on invoke. So far I was working mainly with automatic1111 and midjourney.
The hero (though an expensive one) remains Midjourney, from my point of view – sorry to say. What’s the main difference to all stable diffusion based generators is, that Midjourney seems to have a way better understanding of the prompts and the resulting composition.

Having that said: There’s a way, how you could blow Midjourney out of the water! Please implement controlnet(s) like they were recently released for automatic1111! https://github.com/lllyasviel/ControlNet
A series of controlnets (e.g. do the background first, then have a depth model of two persons in a specific pose, etc.) gives incredible control over the composition of your picture.
From my point of view that would be a real gamechanger.

one way you could do it is to upload your image on ai canvas, mask your face with the brush tool there, and then put in a prompt for the rest of the body. not sure if it would work correctly, but that's just one possibility

if you are looking at blending two photos, then something photo-shop like may be easier to deal with

Yes, you can lower the quality or dimensions and it will take less tokens. Some models also take more tokens. The math is pretty complex🤪 But you can always see how many tokens a generation will take beforehand.

LeonardoAI Upscaler usually changes details in the images so that's normal

you can just use Gigapixel AI to upscale it or go to futuretools and find AI Upscaler there.

Team is working on different upscaling options, including one that doesn't change details, I've been told. Personally I use upscale on all my best images as it often removes bad details on faces (messed up eyes etc).
