there are lots of 'improvements' in leo's ui recently. not all of them are for better, unfortunately 🙁
i managed to force nano banana to use a different ar, by cropping the reference image, and putting the phrase "keep the dimensions of the original image" into the prompt. it worked.
but it works only when you use a reference image
