I am so glad to join CTB1. The quality of the game is excellent, with excellent graphic, strong sense of dubbing in, and some lovely interactions, especially worker Settings and moving figures for collection, which make people feel fresh and new! 😀

Let me get in on a beta/game play and I'll give some feed back 😅😆 But from a Viking stand point, I would have to say All of the Above. But, military gets you resources, which gets you technology, but technology from the rip gets you better ways to harvest resources and a more advanced military. So I'd say the Chicken came before the Egg.

I unfortunately didn't make it to CBT1, but here are a few quick wish list items for the next test phase or final game

~Events, Events, and more Events! Grind for rewards, not pay for them.
~Story/Campaign. More idle things to do and the lore is so deep you could really get immersive.
~Equipment. Make extra strong heroes. Blacksmith to breakdown old items or strengthen current gear
~Building Upgrades. Make it not only stronger on stats, but visually different as well
~Cash Shop. Cosmetic only 😉 Long shot I know, but absolutely plausible. At least don't spam or clutter the UI with offers. Id rather pay a nominal monthly fee ($10/15)
~Auto Translate. For all chats
~Voice Chat. Ability to set up "war rooms" for better strategic planning
~Leader Controls. R5/R4 ability to see online status and member location. Ability to change permissions for R3-R1.
~VIP. Something new and not obtainable via real money. Progression and time spent playing should count for more than how deep your wallet is.

Okay, just a few for now. Admittedly I play mostly on PC. I do wish to see this game break the mold of the traditional mobile-SLG-P2W games with the same mechanics. *And if you keep listening to your player base, you guys will do great! Anyways, SKOL! 🍻

If you have played the game, then what's your thoughts on the fog exploration and if there's any needed how can it be improved.

I think the fog is cool once you defeat the sentry tower the fog disappears

The fog exploration is a good feature, being able to spend the time unlocking the map while awaiting for upgrading to be performed is good, the only thing I dislike about it is that you only can do smaller areas.i would've liked to see maybe a change to say allowing you to pick a spot further into the fog to and create a flight path by hand instead of just the square it gives, I suggest this due to then you could create a flight path around the edges and then send your eagles in straight lines to clear the map better or gain higher levels of exp for say every 100 fog you clear. and the investigation of buildings as well as rewards such as shards or troops is great I wish they matched your troops level not just tier 1

The only reason I suggest the higher level exp points per say 100 fog dispels is I know when it comes time for full version the players whom don't make purchases could use the incentive of more exp gained to increase the displacement of the fog

To clear the fog easily first clear the edges of the map. Then you can choose to search an area at the edge and your eagles will clear everything in it's path.

Exploration was pritty pointless I thought I unlocked all but the last exploration. Not sure what commission level that was if u let us load back in the game we can check 😂.

When is US area getting it available, was able to get to 15 building lvl but was stuck on trying to gain leader points to get to lvl 30 leadership so I was stuck on prestige 13 or 14

The clan camp commissions, right now feel like a forceful addition.
I don't want to do it but I have to coz it's a part of the game.
I don't want to coz the game is designed to ignore it.
At the end of the day, they don't really provide any real value to my might.
But
It can be changed and turned into a unique feature.
Like this:
We get the items that are required from the main map instead of getting them inside our Village.
We take a hero out on "exploration", that hero can forage and can fight monsters without troops. "This way we can get hero exp as well, coz rn hero exp is dry as my toe in winters."
So the hero "explores" and does all these tasks and gets the item from the main map, this way it is way more fun and engaging. Instead of just clicking on an item and waiting for it to complete.
and
We can use the coins that we get in a store where we get resources and other things like shields and Teleport and we buy them with the items from doing the commission tasks. Or just use the tribe store, or whatever those currently using.

As a pure f2p, I chose to focus first on a purp hero. I got 2 halo of thorns early in the game and it synergized well with wooder. He's good in pvp and decent in pve. He's also a pikeman hero, which is the troop type i'm planning to focus on.

As we already know, this was tricky question, because no one as a hero is strongest, but combination of two heroes together, their advantage and cooperation with each others doing miracle and thats how question shoud be said.

This Is why a recommending two combination of heroes:

Frst one is Yvette and Laird, because they have amazing cooperation on Pikeman, on counter attack as a both buffing them. Plus Yvette can heal, Laird give shield, which reducing dmg and because of that, they are one of the strongest tank, pve And combination of heroes.
Cons - they are both for money and their grade looking for looong play, but if you looking on some focus, this couple are pretty interesting.

Second is Ivor and Cecia - this Heroes are good in combination on all units as a little bit counter of specialization, Cecia is boosting basic attack of troops, do solid dps and Ivor, as a buffer on basic attack and all type squad, is ideal for starting combination .
As a their grade, they can be used as a F2P players .
Cons - there arent specialization and in late game, they will play second fiddle.

This is two combination of heroes, which very well work together

Artur and Olena is a great agressive duo, both using fire abilities that increase their damage if the target is burning (which it will do almost at all time with this setup). They both are also Archer-specialized so go full archers as their army. Engage with a different defensive army such as Yvette and Laird as they have both heals and shields. Then you engage with Olena and Artur and watch things melt. There is also very good fire abilities you can teach them.

Extra: Id advise you to give Olena both fiery rage and rage leach, she will gain alot of rage together with high focus which leads to your opponent being starved on rage cause of rage leach.

so far the UI changes are really good looking the catapult system is very interesting depending on how they are usable the worker update is gonna be one of the best aspects i think since they make a big difference especially if you can awaken them for even better speedups

I woud recommend to let auto repair walls, that 30 mins hit is rly pain in overall, which you will do in update 👍.

Overall i think, for guys like us, we woud like more info in update news. Like for example, if you write, optimized how shields and heals working, a lot of us Will gladly hear details, how, its up or down, it will correct main issue etc.

If i can add new hero in game. I would like to add 👑 King Harald "Fairhair" . The English word "fair" implies that King Harald's hair was not always blond, and his hair color has nothing to do with the nickname. Fair is a translation of the Scandinavian word "fager," which means "beautiful" .

If i will add u some skill to him it would be first. Calculative Strike. Causing damage AOE+ reduce healing of the enemy hit by it

Next for his passive will be. Like" Fairhair " : Reduce incoming damage recieve by % + Heal injured troop by % amount (every ?? round)
