BUT in all honestly F2P cant defend. In time at season 3 you can have 3 star Rosky and 3 star Helgar and that is good defense even at those levels.. But until then focus on archers and your 'defense' team are merely cannon fodder so your archers can do damage. Wooder and Laird is the best but Laird ain't free either. Even leif needs yvette and they still suck

Its not that bad. You just let your t7 or t6 whales tank while you flank and focus on flank damage. Worked well for me in kvk 1 and even better in kvk2. I got a decent chunk of t7 kills this way. Just flanking while your t7 players tank..

Well the thing is if you wont spend money to get Laird then you don't need Laird. Running pikemen heroes are for whales. If you wont awaken him then dont use him. a non whale pikemen loadout does nothing. You can fill pikemen rallys with any alternative level 60 heroes. Doesn't have to be Laird. You should not pvp with a non awakened laird anyways. Just my opinion

Well the best pair at the start for your Ivor would be Olena and then just run First Strike, Odin's Asylum, Joint Offense and Rage leech or can swap one of the skills for Enrage if you dont have one..

But the best idea is not to waste time with ivor even if you are f2p. Focus on Olena and max her out then can keep Ivor as a place holder until you work on either Artur / Verdandi / Gregory . Gregory is free on the Clan coin shop. Personally I would say bets would be to focus on Verdandi and then Arur.. and you focus only on one of them and Olena and you aim to max their skills to 10 and awake them. Ignore the rest

You cant. It was a one time event where you had to p2w to get shards. You could get him to 5.3 stars without spending then you had to swipe plenty of money to get him maxed out. Like the majority of strong stuff in Viking Rise is behind a paywall.. Nowadays they love adding stuff on a timeline and behind a a pay wall so if you missed it you missed it.

Getting a gold dish isn't all about money tbh, luck matters a lot there as well. Got two gold dishes without using a single herb and the only time I ever used money in the game was to unlock Yvette

So I would say if you don't pay, just hope you are lucky enough to score the gold dish

Yea but it's very hard to get anything out of using herbs as a f2p, I literally spent the entire event trying to get herbs and got a total of 50 towards the end, used it all on one dish and still failed lol. managed to clear 1 recipe at least
