The Canadian born composer Trevor Morris did an amazing job. I can't wait to hear the full version. The trifecta of this 3 part structured song goes together well. Karl Örvarsson vocals with a mixture of English and Norse really makes this stand out. The inspiration of poems of valor with the nykelharpa combined with the hurdy gurdy makes this very unique. Karl with the 2 solo instruments just works well and then having Trevor Morris bring it all together and synthesize Viking drums just makes it epic. Trevor made an epic Viking song, one of his finest works in my opinion.

MY THOUGHTS

This might sound strange but hearing this song made me think of a lover triangle. Using the basic game info about Ragnar, Ivana and Ivor it made me think of this idea of a story.

After saving the townfolk from the dragon, Ragnar is given the title Dragon Slayer and becomes betrothed to the Chieftain's daughter Ivana, the Lady of Snow. Yet during battle, Ragnar separates with a small contingent of forces to outflank their enemy, but this ends up taking several days and he is struck down by an arrow.

Ivana not knowing if she will ever see him again fights on besides Ivor who is Ragnar's half brother. During the initial skirmishes in the front lines Ivana finds herself cutoff from her warriors and cornered into a ravine outnumbered 5 to 1, but suddenly Ivor leaps down from a tree over hanging the ravine and cuts down all 5 men in a steady stream of his dual axe swings decapitating the last one right before her eyes.

Even though the grotesque display shocked her to the bone, for a glimpsed moment she saw the true raw passion in Ivor's eyes as he gazed back at her. She knew it was wrong but that night after the trauma of nearly dying she crept quietly into Ivor's tent and confided to him, thanking him for saving her. Passions grew and by morning both will have to face the consequences of their lovers tryst.

The next day news came Ragnar wasn't dead, but had been wounded and would arrive back with the main troops at the end of the week. Even though Ivana had promised herself to Ragnar, the passion she just had the night before with Ivor had changed her. She could feel a love growing for both men now. What will she do?

Well that's the general idea of the lovers triangle story I got from hearing part of this song.

The inspiration of my ideas. Every epic story has to have a love story in it. Why not have a dramatic love triangle between the 3 main heroes for rallies? Ragnar, Ivana and Ivor. There is something exotic about living a life on the edge, not knowing if today is your last. There once was a time when love was filled with such passion and life. Vikings lived for the moment and passion for life and love was a big part of their world.

I would love to see more story added to the game. IGG hired a composer, why not hire an author to write an epic story for the game as well?

Allow larger players to move between kingdoms. The worlds are too closed and if a player is oppressed in a given kingdom, he is unable to develop further. Thus, the money, energy, and time you invested in your account cannot be further developed... Migration is necessary to be able to escape. 1- March Speed Up for sure.. Our troops are gonna die before they reach to their destination already.

2- In my tribe, I can see who did what to my tribe buildings, but I cannot see who attacked or rallied my members. We should be able to see ALL incoming and ongoing ATTACKS. Not just tribe buildings.

3- All tribe members need to get a notification when a tribe member is getting rallied or attacked, so we are able to protect eachother.

4- Valkyrie rewards suck!

5- Gathering is annoying. Too long and too little to get.

These improvements can be found in other games. I think this game is good because it is different from the others. If they bring rss-producing buildings, the game will be like the others.. they will attack the other city, for the rss, because then it will also be part of the game. Marching speedup is also unnecessary, because there will be players who spend a lot of money on the game just to suppress other players. It is currently balanced. A player 2x bigger can still run, but then this will no longer be possible. 2.) Reduce the high resource demand in game. Add a $2.99 extra march pack and cut down on the amount of resources needed to heal troops fighting pve mobs. Why have 2 city and 2 village building ques if you never have enough resources? We need an option to purchase an extra march.

3.) Remove  flags no longer connected to tribe buildings after 7 days.

4.) Increase the drop rates from Niflungs and Niflung Leaders. I never see the rewards listed drop.

5.) Add more ways to get skill experience items. Either add an event or add them into drops from special mobs on the map.

6.) Add monster gear you can craft from killing Turtles and Octopuses.

We have Beast Lair 1-2-3 level, we have altar, we have pier etc etc, and to be able to attack those, you need to be connected as territories, and for that you need to put towers and stuff, at the end, we all have huuuge territories. Relocators are not accessable enough, so sometimes we need to march from one end to another. It causes waste of time, that's why we need march speed. Mining should have way bigger mines with a chance at losing a percentage of unsecured rss while still keeping some that is considered secure. Based on how well you upgrade your mine hero’s accordingly. Lastly. About migration. Personally I feel if a whale or two ruined their server by burning and burning and burning. That’s their problem. Allowing them to migrate to more killing fields. Only allows them to dismantle other servers as they did their own. I think cross server battles and or wars is fine. What server are you? I’m not arguing your point honestly. I’m in k25 k33 and k46 and I can’t find anyone with unprotected resources. Idk if it’s the warehouse being leveled to their chief hall or they just all buy what they need when they need but I would love to farm players instead of spending my hard earned $..because with my troops dying in exchange at t5 is never worth it. I spend over half the “maybe 1 million” they have laying out if I even break even on each resource I need to retrain..it’s like the developers are punishing city hitting and want us to hit matches and tiles for less cost…since yaknow that doesn’t gaurantee death loss

I'm in K48 and in our kingdom, people get attacked. And it's not like what you're saying. You attack a person maybe 1 time and lose your troops. After that, it's impossible for them to stand up again as 1-They don't spend, 2-You already got their rss to rebuild, 3-Time factor. Some barely heal them for gathering again, and they get attacked on tiles this time. How do you think they will have a chance to survive exactly? That's why I keep telling my members not to open any rss packs if they are not gonna use them, and always gather when you are online. So you can recall your troops instead of getting hit on tiles.

Oh and you cannot ask rss from other members coz tax rates are... - well, I cannot find a phrase to explain it in a polite way.

1: they can take resources out of inventory and use the healing speed ups to whittle the attacker down and then the tribe has more troops..so the attacker is burning $ or resources faster than they gain, trust me do this 1x and they will think twice about attacking again.
2:it’s a war game if you have excess laying out your supposed to get robbed, if those mechanics don’t exist no one would pay to play
3:I don’t understand how they don’t have a way to protect themselves. I spend on 1 actt($30) and have never been farmed or even hit
4:tax rate is lowered by prosperity and you could drop tags send your troops to gather and let the small take the rss by attacking. No troops in your city means they don’t lose troops just gain

Mining tile is boring and takes forever. That said. Finding loot should be hard and you should have to think twice about. Is it worth the deaths. I like the setup. Just wish mining tiles was a more worthwhile. Meaning. Add more to the mines. You should need way more time in a mine and gain way more from that time. You shouldn’t need to invest 4 teams in tile mining and have to run back every few hours to reset in new mines. Add more rss to mines.

Last game I was in. Looting was too easy. But you couldn’t double back. The gains went flat after second hit. And second hit wasn’t worth the effort

Warehouse held more secured. And opening loot boxes stayed secured

But. Looting was easier in general. Too easy. Troop loss didn’t matter nearly as much as this game

Taking a L on a raid only meant retraining which was nothing like this game. So you could go right back and get the W and the loot and still make huge gains in rss

No game is perfect as their is no perfect scenario. But I do enjoy the mechanics here a lot more.

Can you advise why the hero reclamation event is now rediculously hard? The last hero reclamation I got to the last hero, but couldn't kill it. Since the upgrade I can't get passed the first hero on the second stage, and 6 hours of healing per attempt, yet I've upgraded troop tiers.

I'm not wasting tons of resources and speed ups per attempt, and I know other people have given up on the event because it's way too costly now.

Aside from the usual adjustments to increase the difficulty, and lower the rewards for everybody (skill shop nerf, monster nerf, increase to gem prices etc etc) ..The new arena has locked Helgar as an option?

I'd love to know why she was a regular hero when I started this game, and why I was able to get her to 4 stat ascension with £ and why she was then removed from the game with no warning, barred from use in some events, and then returned requiring different ascension materials (S2 shards)?

I had been purchasing the last 500+ S1 shards required for her ascension...but you return her as S2 and void my investment without warning.

Kind of seems like you don't really give a damn what the community wants or thinks, you're only interested in increasing the price and squeezing everybody for as much as possible.

Question, "S1 Skill Shards" do these also have a hidden expiry date like S1 hero shards in where by they will become void, without warning, for a bunch of skills at some point?

Yup beasts was a fun interaction each day but after using the free refresh and 3,500 gems 💎 to refresh I was still only offered 1s & 2s so that’s the last time I spend gems on beasts.

Throwing 5 troop lines of T4 & T5 at a level 2 beast, I can’t wait each day for that challenge….I can barely sleep each night I’m that excited 😆

Meh 🫤 I cancelled my subscription yesterday after the update and stopped buying hero summon packs a few days ago when all I get is RARE hero shards, they’re definitely not rare and with a purported 36.51% chance of rare hero shards compared to 17.87% for legendary hero shards, the evidence in my inventory is very clear that I’m not (on average) receiving 1 legendary hero shard for every 2 rare hero shards that I receive.

Hi there @flat cedar and @stoic stream , you cannot hand over R5 whilst you are the King occupying the Sanctum. You would have to wait until the shield drops in order to transfer R5 and therefore Kingship.
