I got a scam message in game asking me to contact the person to get resources. They included several ways to contact them with “~” between the characters. I made my one and only tribe comment asking if such scams were common and a few seconds later I got a message saying I am permanently blocked because I was repeatedly reported for using inappropriate language in the game. This is so tragically broken, I can see why people don’t bother chatting. There wasn’t even a button to appeal the blocking. It would only take a few seconds for a human to read my only message and the message I received but they prefer to leave it in the hands of scammers to abuse the chat.
