spawn default kit → survive trio chaos → extract loot → place it into long-term retirement.

almost all extraction games have a steep learning curve. they are designed this way due to their highly competitive nature and it will attract that breed of players. the fact they added an entire PVE setting to this game though is about as friendly as it gets in this genre. you have all the time in the world to learn the AI side of the game in there. dealing with other players on the PVP side is always going to be unpredictable.

i feel ya on this, it really depends on how you play as to how you will react to what others do. i myself do not engage in fights with anyone not wanting to fight. i dont find that fun and will just leave them be and move on to find someone with a halberd 😉 others though will just run anyone down and dont care. its not that its the wrong way to play, it just is what it is in this kind of game and people can and will play how they like.

the main problem is their reach and how fast they can get them swinging with a little dex. sure there are counters for them but, because of the sheer amount of people using them, counter them would have to change so many players styles of play just to counter 2 weapons in the game. sadly though, this is how metas work. folks are gonna jump into the comfy wagon most of the time.
