Use Grok, explain to grok what you need done "enabling memory integrity" grok will link a tool from microsoft which is the hcvi compatibility checker. and grok walks you through the steps in cmd with how to remove these problem drivers after the tool you downloaded identifies them

Squire Royale has officially turned progression into interior decorating.

Every match is:
spawn broke → survive trio PvP → extract amazing gear → place it lovingly into stash where it will never be seen again.

Meanwhile Ruins and Crypts still have giant unused boss modules sitting around like abandoned stadiums.

And honestly, while TPM, Secure Boot, and HVCI absolutely help against cheating, it’s pretty obvious they were never going to fully stop it entirely.

So now older incompatible hardware players are locked out of HR while the cat-and-mouse anti-cheat battle keeps going anyway.

Please reconsider the TPM / Secure Boot / HVCI requirement changes so HR can come back and my stash can stop functioning like a fantasy warehouse.

Whenever I have the slightest urge of playing the game, it vanishes at my first game of encountering a longsword fighter. It's crazy that I have no problem with any other weapon in the game as this one.

It's not about it's damage or ripostle damage or anything. Nerfing that will never change what's wrong with this weapon.

What I care is blocking with longsword requires no skill. They just press right click and look at you and the game does the rest. They will attack you once or twice if they feel generous than start pressing right click extremely skillfully, crouch and look towards your weapon. With some of the weapons and how they attack, it's nearly guaranteed that your weapons some part will touch theirs at some point in the fight, and it only needs to touch it once.

Like is it too hard to make blocking TIME based instead of positional in a game where you can't choose the way you are attacking from? With some weapons animations it's nearly impossible to not hit their weapon if they have more than 2 brain cells.

In my opinion blocking should require YOU to be skillfull and place good timed blocks and should have a counter play in return where also you can reblock it and return it back.

I remember getting excited when I saw another longsword user in dungeonborne because the fight was guaranteed to show some skill if I lost to them. The parries required timing and you had CHARGE ATTACKS to break through their blocks (which was also parriable just harder).

Conculusion after my rant;

I know the devs are not going to change blocking mechanics with how much they love positional blocking. It would take years anyway with this development speed. So, just give weapons charge attacks which go through shields/parries but that is bad DPS wise and has to be charged and has some counter play in return. Or just make blocking TIME based, shouldn't be that hard

I’m saying this as someone who ONLY plays Ranger and Druid, so yeah, I actually have to AIM, POSITION, and THINK instead of holding W and mashing one button.

Fighter is completely out of control right now, and the longsword is the biggest joke of skill expression this game has ever seen.

Oh wow, you parried. Congrats. You pressed right click at chest level and the game played itself for you. The longsword turns every mediocre Fighter into a walking “oops I win” machine. Miss? Doesn’t matter. Bad spacing? Doesn’t matter. Brain turned off? Still doesn’t matter. Just fish for a parry and instantly delete someone who actually outplayed you for 30 seconds straight.

Meanwhile, as Ranger or Druid, I’m:

Managing spacing perfectly

Tracking cooldowns

Using terrain

Landing skillshots

Playing neutral like it’s a fighting game

And what does the Fighter do? Plate armor, infinite sustain, sprint at Mach 5, and accidentally parry my entire kit with one animation. If I make ONE mistake, I’m dead. Fighters can make five and still win because the longsword forgives everything.

The worst part? Fighters act like they’re mechanical gods. Bro, you didn’t “outplay” anyone. The weapon did it for you. Longsword is the Dark and Darker equivalent of training wheels welded onto a tank.

There is zero risk, insane reward, and no meaningful counterplay unless you’re also playing Fighter or abusing the same garbage. This is not healthy for the game. It’s pushing out skill-based classes and rewarding the laziest, most autopilot playstyle imaginable.

Nerf the longsword.
Nerf Fighter survivability.
Or at least make parries require actual timing instead of “face the enemy and pray.”

I’m tired of losing fights I objectively played better just because someone picked the class with the biggest safety net in the game.

At this point I spend more time organizing stash tabs than actually using gear.

Squire Royale is basically:
spawn default kit → survive PvP chaos → extract something valuable → archive it forever.

Meanwhile the maps still feel like they’re waiting for HR to come back. Half these areas look like unfinished movie sets with nothing meaningful happening in them anymore.

And while TPM, Secure Boot, and HVCI definitely raise the barrier for cheating, they also clearly haven’t eliminated the problem entirely.

So now older incompatible hardware players are locked out of HR while the anti-cheat arms race keeps rolling on anyway.

Please reconsider the TPM / Secure Boot / HVCI requirement changes so progression can exist outside of stash management.

The stat caps prevent bad interactions. For example: 95% PDR Fighters. There are a lot of things that would be awful to deal with if they didn't have caps on stats, it would be hard to balance skills/perks around ungeared players, and geared players.

It loads up a new map when one is full. As long as a current one is not at capacity and the timer has been running < 5 min, it'll throw you in an old one.

so if a server is full, and after 4min someone dies and you load up, it can throw you in that dead guys spot.

Pay attention to the map timer (bottom right) when you load in, to figure out if you are part of the recycling squad

if youre a fighter with the halberd, most clerics wont take their sheild off and just use the mstar to parry but it works insanely well
