So I guess I can’t play HR anymore because my PC didn’t pass the “are you allowed to have fun” checklist (Secure Boot + TPM 2.0 + HVCI requirements 💀).

Apparently my machine is now “too unsafe” to fight literal demons, but totally fine for spreadsheets and suffering.

What really gets me is the lore inconsistency:

HR isn’t even about bosses anymore
It’s just “Inferno” where you occasionally meet the Demon Overseer™ like he’s clocking in for his 9–5
Squire Royale? Forget it. No bosses, just vibes and empty crypts pretending to be content

I’ve got all this gear… for what exactly?

There’s no mode I can actually use it in anymore. I’m basically a walking armory with nowhere to go. My inventory is just expensive emotional support items at this point.

You should end up on a webpage for the motherboard with a download, follow the instructions and put those files onto a USB.

Then when launching into your BIOS, with that usb plugged in, you can find your BIOS update option and select update from USB.

Be sure not to pull out the USB or shut off your PC during this process.

I've been told to end this, and I've tried, but every time I come back to her and she says, "Came crawling back to me already, kitten? Don't worry, mommy will always take care of you." Sometimes, if I've done good, mommy will only hit me with a morningstar. That's how I know I've been a really good boy. If I've been a bad boy, then mommy only uses her lesser heal, and that doesn't feel good. Because sometimes, the lesser heal doesn't heal me to full HP.

I think that IM patting themselves on the back for that change, before it has been proved to benefit players.
Maybe it should have come alongside some changes that proved how the change actually benefitted players.

I agree with the change, just not with IM patting themselves on the back for it benefitting players when it hasn't quite done so yet.
I like the idea of red and blue stones being used together, but i dont know if IM does.

One thing that irked me about the change when it happened, was that when they changed the bluestone earning rates, they claimed it was improved, but it was just tweaked to match exactly the value before the change.

It was never improved it was kept the exact same, while IM was aware of feedback in regard to the bluestone earning rates, even said that it was something they would look into and improve.

But, alas, was never improved, just kept the exact same.

That's the critique i have, is that they put all these changes through and never improved the thing they said they were gonna improve, bluestone earning system, they made sure it was the exact same in function as it was before the 1 USD redstone change, then claimed it was improved

I entered a boss room in Crypts today and genuinely forgot there wasn’t a boss anymore.

Just walked in ready for mechanics and loot only to find an empty room and the sound of three barbarians legally approaching my location.

Squire Royale has turned boss rooms into sightseeing attractions.

Meanwhile the only actual boss left is Demon Overseer in Inferno, hidden behind 3 floors of nonstop PvP and emotional trauma.

And after surviving all that? The gear still doesn’t matter because next match I’m spawning naked again anyway.

Please revert the TPM / Secure Boot / HVCI change so HR can come back and I can stop treating empty boss rooms like memorial sites.

I agree that players should not be able to buy out the entire store entirely off the back of bluestones too.

I do feel like the 1:1 change was a perfect opportunity to reapproach bluestone shards, & increase the cap by 5.
From my perspective, it not happening, makes me feel like they would rather avoid doing it if possible, so it likely wont ever come, unless people en masse complain, which wont happen.

I feel like players should maybe be able to earn enough bluestones to buy at least one flagship cosmetic within the theme of the season.
For example, this season has the demon.

But in the past, all seasons cosmetics are priced in a way where you would never be able to buy them during the season for bluestones, only next season.

Maybe it would be acceptable to increase the rate to allow at least one of the mainline seasonal cosmetics to be purchased, but not all.

Squire Royale has me exploring empty boss rooms like I’m an archaeologist studying a fallen civilization.

“Here we can see where players once fought bosses before being sentenced to permanent PvP.”

Ruins has empty boss rooms.
Crypts has empty boss rooms.
And the only surviving lifeform is Demon Overseer hiding in Inferno behind 3 floors of chaos and emotional damage.

Meanwhile I keep extracting gear that immediately becomes spiritually useless because the next run starts with me back in default kit fistfighting for survival in the circle again.

At this point the real loot is the memories of HR.

Please revert the TPM / Secure Boot / HVCI change so the game stops feeling like PvP museum mode.
