Tried to take it slow and explore for once—game said “nah” and shoved me back into PvP within 30 seconds. I don’t even remember what a real HR run feels like anymore. Was there… strategy? PvE? Loot that mattered?

Well, it was fun guys. 7k hours for NOTHING. $30 for NOTHING. My PC is BRICKED. Black screen, no boot. All because IronFUCK requires me to be a NASA engineer just to play high roller. TPM 2.0, HVCI, whatever the FUCK alphabet soup BIOS ritual they’re forcing me through, and now my PC is just DEAD. All I ever wanted from this game was morbidly pregnant goblin men with big fat cheeks that made plopping noises as the ran bare-cheeked down the wet-walled stony goblin caves. I'm honestly pretty impressed with the state of the game right now, and I've been very critical of it with how it's gone between the playtests and now. I feel like it's finally in a state where it feels good. I love the ssf beginning of the season that forces farming and engaging in the crafting mechanics to get decent stats.
I also think the "TLC" type work is feeling good with the chagnes to rogue and ranger. I really hope they keep doing that with the early classes. Wizard feels so unloved right now. I'd love to see wiz and maybe fighter get some love in terms of reworking the perk/skill synergies you can work with. Fighter is just flat out too strong.

Day 7 without High Roller…

I’m extracting with gear now and just staring at it like… cool. Awesome. Totally useless.

There’s no next HR run. No bringing it back in. No actual progression. Just Squire Royale again where I spawn with nothing and immediately get shoved into PvP like the last run never happened.

Loot doesn’t matter. Surviving doesn’t matter. It’s just fight → extract → reset → repeat.

At this point I’m basically farming souvenirs I can’t use.

Please just revert the TPM / Secure Boot / HVCI change so gear actually means something again.

7k hrs in game....I updated the BIOS, installed Windows 11 (I had to add registry entries to bypass the TPM), and after several attempts to access the BIOS and uninstall drivers, I managed to enable HCVI and Secure Boot. Now I can't enable the TPM, the Trusted computng option doesn't appear, and all the answers I've found indicate that I need to buy a new motherboard or add an external memory module, components that aren't available in my region. Do you know of any alternative solutions, since the developers aren't responding to inquiries?....The mother is a Z97-HD3 / i5 4690K 3.50 GHz./rtx3090

Go ruins. If you spawn near graveyard loot that and extract. If not go for the underground ”loot room” in the chapel and move up to square. Kill the golem. Mine the rube silver extract.

1000-2000 gold per run and you’ll die rarely.

Am I an addict with over 7000 k hrs? Yes, but cheaters never affected my progress, and not being able to play because of that is ridiculous.

Oh wow, you parried. Congrats. You pressed right click at chest level and the game played itself for you. The longsword turns every mediocre Fighter into a walking “oops I win” machine. Miss? Doesn’t matter. Bad spacing? Doesn’t matter. Brain turned off? Still doesn’t matter. Just fish for a parry and instantly delete someone who actually outplayed you for 30 seconds straight.

I have officially reached my limit. After 67 hours (yes I checked, don’t try to invalidate my experience), I can confidently say this game is fundamentally broken at its core. The fact that a Rogue can simply EXIST in the same lobby as me completely invalidates my entire playstyle. I am a THINKING player. I position. I calculate. And yet I am punished for it by someone holding W and pressing two buttons.

Before anyone says “skill issue,” I want you to understand I have played competitive games for over 10 years. I hit Diamond in multiple titles (not that it matters, but it does). This is not about skill. This is about DESIGN FAILURE.

If the devs do not address this IMMEDIATELY, I will be uninstalling. And no, this is not an empty threat. I already hovered over the uninstall button twice today.
