you cant really tell yet because the player numbers are inaccurate. everyone effected still has access to squires and normals so of course they still count to the active numbers. We will see the impact a bit later into the wipe, rn numbers are high because they finally did a good season content wise and balance feels pretty good compared to last seasons. The thing is if it just would apply to as you say "terribly outdated" pcs it would at least be reasonable, but a lot of the ppl i spoke to are running good setups, they are simply not able to activate TPM2.0. Theres a room on 1st and 2nd floor of castle. You unlock the rusty door with the rusty key. Fair warning though, If you have a rusty key and go 2nd floor, the room spawns maybe 20% of the time. Best to aim for the first door under the bridge on first floor

I have officially reached my limit. After 67 hours (yes I checked, don’t try to invalidate my experience), I can confidently say this game is fundamentally broken at its core. The fact that a Rogue can simply EXIST in the same lobby as me completely invalidates my entire playstyle. I am a THINKING player. I position. I calculate. I am, and I have written my review of the game urging people to view and consider if they want to play it. Hopefully with enough negative reviews it may get the word out that several people cannot play the game. As far as I know the following people are effected:

Some motherboards,
Anything less than windows 11 (So windows 10 for example),
Linux,
Those with worse specs (Even if they can enter high roller, they say their PC cannot handle this season for some reason. Likely secure boot, etc... Idk for sure),
And those that don't understand how to do it (Skill issue).

But I just want to get the word out there so that people dont spend money on the game when they literally can't play it. That would feel bad, and something I want people to keep in mind.

I personally, am upset because I play on linux. Moreover, I have heard (no evidence, just word of mouth in the dungeons voip with randos) that most cheaters are either unaffected or have already found workarounds.

I don't plan to play much of this game, if my friends wanna do squire royale we can I guess. But besides that, there is no reason for me to play. Even if we get an artifact its not like I can even use it.
