A veces me cuesta explicar lo que siento cuando pienso en Dark and Darker, porque no es solo un juego para mí. Es algo mucho más profundo, casi como un lugar al que pertenezco. Llevo tantas horas dentro de sus mazmorras que he perdido la cuenta; noches enteras en vela, el corazón latiendo fuerte mientras avanzo con miedo por la oscuridad, escuchando cada paso, cada puerta que cruje, cada enemigo que podría ser el último.

He vivido ahí dentro más emociones de las que muchos viven en su día a día. He sentido la tensión de perderlo todo en un instante y la euforia de salir con vida, con el botín en las manos temblando. Y, aun así, siempre vuelvo. Siempre necesito volver.

Hay algo que me da miedo admitir: no sé qué sería de mí sin este juego. Pensar en dejar de jugarlo me genera un vacío extraño, como si me arrancaran una parte de mi rutina, de mi identidad incluso. Porque no es solo el tiempo invertido, es todo lo que he construido dentro, todo lo que he sentido. Es mi refugio, mi desafío, mi escape.

Y luego están ellos, los personajes. Cada uno tiene algo especial para mí. No son simples clases o avatares; los siento como compañeros de viaje. He sufrido con ellos, he celebrado victorias, he aprendido a conocer sus fortalezas y debilidades como si fueran mías. Hay momentos en los que incluso siento que me representan más que cualquier otra cosa fuera del juego.

Puede sonar exagerado para quien no lo entienda, pero para mí es real. Dark and Darker no es solo un juego al que le he dedicado horas… es una parte de mí que no sabría cómo reemplazar. Todo lo que me hace sentir, todo lo que me ha dado, está grabado en mí. Y sinceramente, no sé si sería el mismo sin ello.
