TPM has its purpose in the world of ACs its hard to code anticheat thats compatible with linux depending on end game goal for the devs. Whether they implement diffrent things like AI anticheat which most bigger games have started using or simply if they are trying to stop people using bootkits on pc restart to inject cheats. Secure boot is the correct step. DMA users will still be hard to combat but most people cant afford DMA set ups.

You made it sound like cheaters are required, but plenty of games have taken proper actions to actually stop them instead of just hiding them. HVCI is a sus one, they can use hypervisior to gain ring 0 access to your computer, so you better trust them with that level access to your hardware but from their point of view, they want ring 0 kernnel access to your system to monitor if you've loaded kernel level cheats toa modified OS
hackers and malicious code would want that level access to a machine too, or try to find vulnerable access to that level, but game companies want you to just give that access to them or cant' play their game?

i dont know why people think ssf is more accessible. The people in high gear will have repeated juice kits while regular players will never have anything. With trade existing, you can play like a rat and atleast grind to a kit that can actually hold its own.

i love the ability to craft rings but the fact that its the only way to acquire them is a really dumb gate given that its locked behind quests for any half decent rings.

just add them back to the loot pools and the jewelry is in a bis situation
