The Karma system can time them out, but if they instantly requeue they can get into a game before it stops them, it will appy to the next run. If the person is teamkilling like the guy said and people use the punish feature he will end up unable to play the game mode for awhile.

Nah, their health is constantly draining, they need to be both drinking pots/using bandages & using their demon form ability exploitation strike, which heals HP based on a % of the Max HP of the target.

They get a decent bit of Max HP, MDR and PDR when going into demon mode, so they'll be tankier than if they werent demon form

Most warlock playstyles are overtuned tbh. Perma demon with crazy resistances and hp. Boc having a high base dmg and (1)scaling has always been strong. Caster lock with all hit scan spells is a bit annoying too. Also have access to plate is strong rn with pdr being so prevalent.

Cleric has a unique way to reduce DoT vs other classes that can just straight stack will, but I don't think that it makes it rise to the level of being a problem

Perseverance was 3 at one point, the uniqueness of hide is that you're true invis even while moving. Giving it a predator distortion like it once had would be better than removing hide altogether.

Windlass requires skill, and it's by definition high-risk high-reward

Rogue invis is detectable, it just requires ones own powers of perception :)

Not saying that there couldn't be a slightly better visual/audible cue of them going into stealth, but I think that's different entirely

The problem is that Warlock is kinda meant to be a jack of all trades. The fact that it can be built very strong in a handful of those ways is just a side effect.

The catch becomes "if all of the ways you can build them strong are nerfed, they'll become a useless class". If all they can do is "be a worse (other class)" then they don't really have a proper place. So, nerfing and balancing them is tricky because reworking them could very easily end up invalidating them entirely.

Blue gear fighters have to give up a lot to be 65PDR and don't have magic damage, Ive seen enough bonk clerics with high damage, HP and move speed utilize stat builds any other class couldn't.

Sure fighter has all those options, fighter is far more versatile, but he doesn't beat bonk cleric in melee. And a plate fighter has 6 seconds with sprint or adrenaline rush to gain enough ground to shoot the cleric enough times to cover that gap in melee. Plate fighter might have 30% more move speed on another full plate user, but bonk cleric needs 30-35% PDR to do the same job with 305+ move speed

As if you boil down all the sentiments enough, people just want the class abilities and melee (not even the perks necessariliy) and all of the attributes to be the same so they can essentially play TF2 medieval mode

Like, that sounds fun, but it's a fundamentally different game and invalidates the reasons certain classes have certain opportunities to shine

The fact that it's a TTRPG-Based Extraction shooter is what allows some classes to do well in certain areas, and it being designed around trios as the main mode

True lol. Bard is my second most played class. Feels bad to want to play classes that are more “complex” and be punished for learning them and trying to reach the skill ceiling. Thats a problem a lot of games have is classes/characters with high skill ceilings tend to get nerfed off of the top 1% performers.

Cleric I think needs something like prayer beads that they can hold in the offhand slot, in order to cast spells while holding a melee weapon. Cleric solo is miserable unless you're just a stat check with divine protection

But, having the option to be melee, sacrificing the defense of a shield, in order to have the ability to attack and cast would be nice

Warlock? Id just do 40 to 50% magic damage minimum. Additional magic on everything, and magic damage bonus. And then boc. If its another class. And you get your magic power up, you might 1 tap squishy classes, but for sure 2 tap. Oh and headshot damage bonus on everything
