Not very much competition, good loot, and pretty easy when you know what to do

I highly recommend realmagestream's videos on it

Wyvern is probably one of the others that doesn't feel like it has a lot of competition, but it's pretty brutal, as the hr version will essentially take twice the time to kill

Bosses are rewarding to learn in general, it's probably a better idea to figure out what you want out of the experience first

To an extent, but the level of skill needed to overcome the differences was nowhere near as extreme as it is now.

Game feels like 1v1 balance was completely rejected in favor of 3v3's. Which of course is a fair design choice I'd say, but as a solo only player it just feels very unpalatable

It does feel different though when the amount of let's say arrows used to kill a fighter doubles. The amount of things that can happen in that double time and chances for the fighter to survive increase exponentially therefore increasing the potency of the rock paper scissor effect. Years ago if I as an archer could put 4 arrows into a fighters head, they were just dead. Now that same engagement takes 6 therefore making it not obviously physically impossible, but so oppressive that the logical decision is to just run. When I'm in that dungeon to ONLY PvP as a solo; it makes it kinda fucked experience when I rolled unlucky to run into my counter class lol. Sorry, I'm not trying to rant, just an old player frustrated with how my experience has changed over the years. Just gonna have to stay gone and move on

you could put 4 arrows into a fighter and win back in the day because they didn’t start with a helmet or any armor, now everyone starts with some base gear and the floor is raised quite a bit. on top of that, the average player’s skill is significantly higher than when the game first came out. it’s unfortunate you don’t feel like you can enjoy the game anymore, but the balance between classes and builds countering each other has definitely gotten better overall, not worse

I made an optimized bis sling arena cleric and it was hitting for over 100 damage headshots also had 45% action, it was… fun and they deff didn’t expect it but at the end of the day it was beer buff, weapons dam buff, then try to hit them. Very hard to hit those rocks when people are dodging and kinda just feels like really bad ranger

If your going smite/DP it’s good to have the ranged once in a while it’s just terribly inefficient, ( there’s a split second regardless of action speed where after you reload the sling you have to wait before you can start the swinging.

Only a small percent of players know how to boss. Let alone know how to kill the NEWEST boss just released to get obsidian. U should stop caring about that and worry that they just killed a huge portion of their casual/long term player base who enjoyed random map Que. and over the last couple wipes the devs have only removed more and more aspects of the game that people enjoy.

I don't know that I can agree, the first one was essentially someone being excited to get the gang back together again, and the second one being tired of everything and killing everyone off to try and tell something "new"

I can appreciate new stories, but because of how the second movie got told especially, I don't know that I'd prefer the second director's approach at all

I don't have enough experience to weigh in one way vs another, but the experience I do have leads me to believe that a lot of the complaining is just complaining, and not evidence of something being true

I think Druid is fine atm, but I don't play it, and I can't say I've run into too many that have. The most recent one that I did run into yesterday was using spells
