I feel that they added more skill expression through the addition of weapons reposting and slightly reduced the strength of gear, reducing the amount of gear diffing.

They also removed stacking move speed and max health which made it a constant cat and mouse game in many cases.

They also brought back the feeling of being very rewarded when killing a juiced player, good jewelry is a luxury now.

Well I'm not sure exactly what you've seen last time you played, but we have water map with 2 bosses, firedeep (goblin caves second level) with 1 boss, sorcerer class, some changes to perks/skills for fighter & barb, more types of gear, weapons, craftable gear, faustian bargain (play as monsters).

If you wanna get back into the game, squire 2 riches is a very popular game mode. It's trios, BR circle, everyone starts with default gear, and works nice even with random queue.

if you are about the big dash, for me its2 variation. Near bigdash can be block by swim up to the left and block at the nose. Far big dash is simply try to avoid to be 1 hit by it. Cant tell how to probably do it for real. But with practice, big dash is nothing
