If youre having trouble surviving, maybe change up your gameplan. Only stick to the outer edges of the maps, loot some small boxes and mobs instead of peaking the big objectives/busy spots on the map, and only go to the red toward the end of the match or when you think there wont be people in the area since there are other distractions going on 🙂

The rest are either too dependent on spacing (something hard to obtain in solo play) or too dependent on certain stats of other classes being low to make huge counterplay (such as Ranger needing to be geared + face classes with low Physical Damage Reduction in order to have an easier time).

If youre having a hard time with Halberd Fighter, maybe you can try BOC + Phantomize Warlock with Plate Armour.

Its basically copy paste of what youre already doing, but Blow of Corruption will carry you through a lot of PVP and Phantomize is an easy escape 🙂

Ye, think of parries as a tool only for 2 circumstances.

1. If you're so up on someone's health that you think it would be nice to get extra chunk damage on them so you pass up a potential normal hit in order to chunk them (Typically a time save),
   or
2. Youre in such a desperate circumstance that you need the parry to land in order to out dps them to save your life (you're dead anyways and its a last chance play).

Sometimes its nice so you can ensure that youre ahead on someone, but the downside is if you miss, you need to reconcile your fight that youre going to be down a hit from the get-go.

If you can somehow compensate for that later in the fight then its fine. If not or youre not sure, I wouldn't try to do that first hit.

With Halberd or Longsword play, or just in general I believe,
its typically not best to start off with a defensive stance because the enemy will not feel any panic to need to hit you in a risky manner, so they will go for free shots on legs/head- ensuring you don't get the parry anyways.
Its typically always going best to use the parry when you know the enemy is desperate for a hit (such as finishing you off in scenario 1 here where they will try to brute force you because they are down damage, or in scenario 2 here where they dont think you will be able to come back from the fight because they are so up on you and they 'carelessly' attack you in any which manner.

Nah, you just use Demon Armour perk + Phantomize and Blow of Corruption for you Skills.
Rangers are typically easier to kill on that build because you can simply just phantomize toward them and they literally cant do anything about it except run and close doors to get away or have to have such large run space to compensate their need to damage you quickly (if theyre less geared).

Always get damage, you need it to actually do damage if someone's geared more than you, then you can check for movespeed not to drop below 300 weapons seathed, HP around 110/115 should do if you don't get poked too much, mostly it depends on gear pieces themselves rather than rolls, so I usually go for most damage on rolls

im a bard. I play rousing rhytms for my team (Me, Fighter, and a Barbarian). As the bard, I'm very resourceful (30) but I've got shit will... 12, its my dump stat. The fighter we'll say is pretty balanced on all stats... 20 everywhere. The barbar has almost no resourcefulness... idk what their base is but lets say he has 10 but high will (30). When I play my rousing rhythms, it will last the longest on the barbarian and the shortest on me. MY reso sets the duration. THEIR will modifies it from there. Makes sense?
