A lot of people think that "balance" = "Every class can go toe to toe with every other class in the 1v1" and that's just not it.
You have 1v1s 2v2s, 3v3s, arenas, eight different maps with an immense number of different modules that all have wildly different terrain and hazards, etc
It's literally not possible to "balance" the way that everyone wants. Different classes and even different playstyles within the same class work to different levels of effect on different maps, in different matchups, with different mobs present. What's useless in one map can be hugely obnoxious in another, etc

Sprint is a nice tool ngl, barb has rage and sorc has blink, druid used to flyhack the whole map for so many seasons. Hardly the only class. Also heal over time (think it was 40%, not 50 (?)) once per campfire is not that strong if you think about it. It's just a one time use super pot kinda thing. Only reason everyone ran sprint/sw is there wasnt really anything else until recently

I used to main TM warlock for a couple seasons. I tried it this time around and it just feels terrible because your DOT has to be absolutely stacked, and you need good pots to keep up with damage received from opponents and the huge cost of casting. It’s definitely still viable, but it isn’t as good as demon or plate with BOC and phantomize. I’m a scrub though, so I prefer lower skill curves. Lol

Yeah but you also got shoved into a specific gear set and build style if you wanted that. You had to stack damage, mag heal, knowledge, and MS, just to kite and survive fights. Then you were forced to run phantomize to get away from players that would just W through your curses because your DOT didn’t phase them. I remember fighting a fighter for an entire round in ruins, then in crypts, and then again in hell, all in the same raid. I was in full warlock crack, just straight mag heal and damage BIS, and died because he had 200 HP and I just couldn’t do enough burst damage to take his HP down to zero. Lol this wipe we don’t have that problem because HP stacking got turbo nerfed, but it would still be nice if I could recover HP without needing to suck down pots constantly. Lol

It’s dumb slow and its attack hit box is massive, so it’s cake to parry or block. Try gauging your weapon reach a little more or just run sword and board on something. The demons glee with poison damage, with hide and weak point, along with full will, add mag damage, mag damage bonus, and mag power are the apex of risk and reward for the rogue. I play on the Test server, it's pretty much 100% non-toxic. I would recommend it for anyone who wants to "PvE". You can pick whichever dungeon you want on Normals or HR without having to play the PvE Mode with it's bastardized loot table.

Sorc did get a really good buff. IM essentially freed up a perk slot by making one of his existing perks ingrained in his kit. His glaciate is also crazy right now but so few people actually played sorc that I still haven't died to a sorc running it because everyone trying it is new to the class lol.

Based on the amount of parry fishing some of them try I have to guess they are LS fighter mains.

Maybe its cause my duo is a sorc and because of that I know broadly how it works, but its honestly like the least problematic class for me (in 1v1s) and feels pretty balanced rn with the exception of glaciate, second to barbarian.
