I think one way doors with an extended loot timer (time it takes to open boss loot, like 5-8 seconds) so that you have to clear competition to get loot would be perfect

There’s nothing engaging about being sniped outside the door while the enemy suffers no consequences for messing with you and has low risk unless you deliberately engage

Hell in gob caves it’s fun when players are locked in a boss room fighting each other while avoiding the boss

hey guys, help me out here (Im awful at building but doing my best to follow guides and hit targets)... sorc build, Im good on cast speed at 60%, I'm good on HP at 122 (guide Im following went to 126 with 65% speed but said anything over 121 and 55% is good), and I'm keeping pace with magical damage bonus at 35% going into the final part of the build guide Im following (they had the same before, took a vig ring and a will ring and were at 42.4% by using add magic damage, magic power, and magic damage bonus perks)...but Im wayyy lacking in CDR. They said u wanna be at 20%+, and they're sitting at 23.7% with the 5% religion bonus (I took noxulon cuz Im a loot gremlin, so I'm at 15.6%)...so my question:

would I be better served going with unique rings so I could cheese out extra will and get 5% cdr per ring, and maybe do knowledge instead of vigor? or should I just follow the guide so I don't miss out on that 7.4% magic damage bonus jump?

TL;DR: what's more important for sorcs, hitting 20%+ CDR or hitting 40%+ Magic Damage Bonus?

ok after doing a bit of research, it sounds like "magical damage bonus" and "magical power" perks are factored in, but additional magical damage comes after-the-fact.... so in going with unique necklace and cloak over legendary, I miss out on +2 additional magic damage to gain +5.6% CDR, +4.8% Spell Casting Speed, +3.2% action speed, +5str for swinging with longsword, and +5.0% magical damage bonus to help make up for that loss of magic damage. At worst, I'm losing 1 damage on the sub-10-base-damage spells like Flamestrike/Lightning Bolt's DoT tick, and at best I'm gaining up to 20% overall dps compared to this "BiS" guide... I can live with that

Took me 9 minutes all in all, spells-only. Definitely no one got in melee range at least (myself included) 😛

And just for the record: yes ik it'd be a lot faster with longsword over spamming elemental bolt, frost lightning, and eruption + flamestrike on him the whole time, but that's hard to do when you have no way of grouping for flamestrike as others are pulling aggro 🥹

Can I upgrade the quality of starting gear through squire quests still? yeah every weapon can parry, but specific ones are best for it. you can still get better squire gear from doing quests, so whatever armor you use like cloth leather plate, focus that vendor. All jewelry comes from the goldsmith now so do his quests to get the better crafts

And how is it fun to jump into HR and see only barbarians? There is no balance currently, barbarian is stupid OP compares to the rest. They removed all true damage, and nerfed agility. Practically all changes were nerfs to all over classes except fighter and barbarian.

I am not kidding when I say that lobbies are barbarians, and sometimes there is a rogue or a fighter. The class variance is not that high.

Which again makes sense, because barbarians were not affected at all by any of the nerfs this season, health is much more valuable than resistances. I can't even blame the players for playing what is broken, but I can blame IM for missing the mark.

If u run out of money you can just go run around GC and farm the ore you see, fight the players. You end up with a norms kit and a decent pile of rocks

Check the ornate chests and coffers for mystical gem, free money there too

Towards the end u can also check the bosses and go attack the middle room for a shot at the gold
