The devs should test out a "Dark and Darker Classic" server.

The game felt so much more organic during the playtests, when all of the gear scaling was extremely broken and every class was viable. Im not saying it was balanced but it seemed like such a more enjoyable experience. Fast paced and higher risk. The only classes that were in the game were Barb, Wizard, Fighter, Cleric, Ranger, and Rogue.

Getting out of the dungeon was harder, people were forced to fight in the closing areas of the map like a true battle royale. It was such a bloodbath and the community seemed so engaged.

It truly was the golden age of Dark and Darker. Just an idea. I miss that game so much. I dont play it anymore. Its unrecognizable.

People just couldnt take blues or reds so easily when losing a fight and people had to face the consequences of positioning.
