Even with ~4,000 players, those players are split across regions, maps, modes, team sizes, and most importantly many parallel instances of the exact same queue. For example, instead of 4,000 players filling ~220 full 18-player lobbies, the system might run 700–1,000 separate instances due to continuous matchmaking and red portals creating brand new downstream dungeons. Simple math: 4,000 players ÷ 900 instances ≈ only ~4–5 players per instance on average. Then red portals and early deaths split those players even further across layers. So the game isn’t empty — it’s just spreading the same players across too many simultaneous dungeon instances, which makes each individual lobby feel underpopulated even when thousands are online.

i think part of the issue is that the telegraph for the lava spouts exists on the ground, I think without sound.
There are almost no scenarios in that boss fight in which your camera would be angled correctly to see the telegraph, since the boss is so large and you are typically looking up at it.

The changes made to the boss with the whole knockback etc. im unsure if they can be dodged or mitigated, 3rd phase already felt like a DPS check, having the puddles just made it feel rng based, puddles weren't really a solved problem before the change, people just had to get lucky when hugging the boss, if unlucky those puddles would end your shit quicker than you could react to em

Giving everything a riposte has broken impact and impact resistance. The riposte window is based on how long your weapon is "knocked away" so having more impact resistance hurts your ability to riposte and having higher impact helps your opponent. Not to mention riposting has always ignored the stun timer. The whole thing irks

Now that ranger can use quiver and land more shots due to the reduction of everyone's move speed the class is able to outperform in every aspect and is over tuned for the current state of the game Adding bow sway to every bow varying on aggressiveness based on bow damage is a way to fix this
as an example having long bow sway start after having a fully drawn bow for 3 seconds this will then start moving your mouse as if you are unable to keep holding a 190lb draw on a bow indefinitely allowing for melee and range to be closer to similar in terms of balance and skill requirements to play the class

Will not happen. There is a bug in the game that lets you kill colossus with let's just say extreme ease, so much so @hexed adder Had to make an appeal to people to stop abusing it. This is still in the game a week later and killing colossus legitimately is currently approaching impossible as a solo. Under these circumstances, they still have not pushed out a hotfix. Best thing you can do is wait for the biweekly patch and pray to God that the fight is actually doable solo without sdf breaking something again

theres no boss killing gear. theres no mechanical variation outsude of magic vs physicsal damage. thats pretty much it, you either max your damage or resistance, magic or physical. its a numbers go up game. even tho its a first person game, the loot plays more like tabletop DnD, its just numbers go up. theres some interesting artifacts like illusory, but even then, most of them only have the special and unique effect of more damage
