It made looting awful. So now they want to move arrows out of the inventory again, so what do they do? Make a quiver, that stacks to 100... instead of making ARROWS just stack to 100...

On top of that, you could've just had NO quiver and went back to what it was before, where there is an implied quiver, with a max amount of arrows in it...

Dude having 200 arrows out of inventory is pretty crazy. The most reasonable way to do it would be to make a back slot above the cape that holds a quiver. It holds max of 100 same as it does now, and if you really want extra arrows for endurance pvp and strong kits running, carry another quiver with 100 arrows in your inventory. Then it's not crazy but we also get inv space.

With the implied quiver, you can balance that, and not allow any arrows to be brought in, and it auto reloads every run (like how spells recharge), which helps low end players with costs and class balance

They tried balancing ranger by just greifing them with arrow management (which they do alot because they don't actually know how to balance in healthy ways), but then decided to increase stack size because it was too annoying, then they did it again, then they added quivers to again increase the stack size yet again, just adding even more costs to fresh/new rangers and making top-level play completely unlimited...

Actually yes, I believe that a potion belt should be limited, with potential upgrades through talent trees, etc. It pushes teams to value healing more, and makes taking bad trades or having bad PvE matter more over time. — You might take running through PvE more seriously because you may take damage you can't afford to heal up.

As for arrows, I'm pointing out the pointlessness of the time they spend on arrow containers, when they could simply return to what they had originally and just type "100" as the arrow limit, functioning exactly like an FPS ammo gauge... Either limit arrows, or make them unlimited. Don't do this half-ass, new players get no arrows, and top players aren't limited at all crap.

You don't think that if meds were limited, people would be much more strategic with which potions they bring, when they use them, and how seriously they take their PvE route and mob pulling?

Currently every streamer has 3 rows of blue health pots and bandages and endlessly heal up. They don't care about taking damage, or being very careful, because they know they have endless healing. — It doesn't make good poking exchanges matter much, because you'll never get the other team to run out of healing, no matter how well you out-poke them.

As for arrows stacks, they've increased it to the point that low-level players can start with a decent amount of arrows... But again, WHY... Just have every ranger automatically start a match with 100 arrows in the quiver already... like, it's so pointless and cumbersome... - if you ever forget you have to run to instant extract because you're totally useless.

For example, if you forced wizard to have to go to the squire and press a button to reset spell charges, that would be the dumbest design ever... pointless

And yes, they had a CoD system before, and they tried to reinvent the wheel for some reason...

You unlock some edges through character progression, skill trees, upgrading squire, med boxes, etc. to gain some extra slots, but it should still have a cap so things don't become just a full inventory of meds and throwables

the whole inventory system is pretty laborious as-is - have to micro-manage a ton of pots, arrows (a little less now), bandages, lockpicks, etc etc. If there was just a loadout belt and they removed a lot of the clunky inventory stuff, it would be a net gain imo

crypts has ALOT (wheel, maze, vault, the new giga-rare random tiles, bosses)
inferno actually only has 2. boss and key
