Grab a rogue (or bard) with lockpick ability and hit up all lions head chests in pve watermap. Just grinded the heck out of it for 2 days straight, found 3 green daggers, 2 green gold goblets and a bunch of the other green pita items. (found a couple of green ceremonials before in castle too, but those took like a week to find). Always in lionshead too, never tomb.

Can confirm sturdy cloth also has a spawn in ice caves. I forget the module name but it has a second tier with a health shrine, lots of kobolds, some wolves, a harpy, and breakable ice. Under the shrine is a room with kobolds. Sturdy cloth can spawn on any of those shelves and i found three of them in one game in that module

Afaik luck doesn't really do much... at least when it comes to improving drop rates on higher tier treasures. I remember a time when it made a big difference on "hunting loot" as they call it, but maybe they broke luck for that as well.

Been hunting cockatrice/imps like crazy for quest items. Also, lvl 109 and only found 1 green ceremonial dagger... on a dead player. At this point, it's just classic IM day quests. 1 month in they will improve the drop rate if they follow the usual pattern.

Quick correction: Bronze scales only drop from Skeleton Swordsman (the one with zweihander).

Ceremonial Dagger (green) also drops in normals Maelstrom - that's where I found 1.

Also you can add that tidal ore can be mined in the middle of Maelstrom - it seems to spawn 1/3 of the time only.

Additional magical damage is the best (rings, amulet, headgear and cape, for a total of +5, also you get more dmg from better quality book/ball/staff). Knowledge/spellcasting speed is great so you can do more spells faster. After that consider having will or magic power (more dmg, around +1% per stat). Alternatively, you could also have vigor (more tanky).
