Bladehand is like slightly more complicated Cyclops. And surprisingly not many people know how to solo him. Hopefully this sticks around next season as well.

There are burning issues with the game and water map ain't one. However, I think it was a major disappointment to get water map after a long delay with major performance issues. Sdf said it was a "make or break" wipe. Instead, it was just a "meh".

To be fair, it's always been good because it has a great atmosphere, nostalgia inducing visual themes and graphics choices and simple, easy to understand combat that is also hard to master (but not too hard).

Also, I do not know of any other game has spellcasting PvP that is this fun.

That being said, devs are really out of touch with what we want. The single most requested feature, quivers, has been postponed indefinitely even though it's very low effort. And they decide to add or change stuff that is obviously bad for most of us veterans just by looking at the patch notes.
