I got a whole stash tab of purple and blue pots just from passively farming stuff while grinding out demigod. I use the ungodly amount of gold I get to buy green bandages from the surgeon. Super duper helpful even if it doesnt seem like it. Purple health pots are insane if youve never used them. Same for better bandages. Get hit once and its like ok let me use 1 bandage and 1 pot and im back in the fight not leaving my other 2 mates to fight a 2v3 while I apply 16 common bandages

Yup, unfortunately they had fever dreams with all the classes, so none of them are very coherent, and all play roughly the same.... Run at enemy, enemy spams throwables, if you dodge enough you win, if they hit enough you lose. It's just ranged spam most games with no real way to close the gap except spazzing out towards them and parkour for 2 minutes.

They need a seasoned class designer and make all classes make a lot more sense, and have more of a balance structure to go off of. Like LoL has 100s of characters and they mostly all seem to fit within the game's balance and all play significantly differently in a way you feel. — This game feels like the same reskined character with different throwables to me. The fights play out essentially the same every time

They should definitely add dash (1 stack on 5 sec cd to start) at the least, to make melee fights more interesting.

But yeah, it's just movespeed diff. If you have movespeed and throwables, it beats everything. That's why max MS double jump rouge with limitless throwables and crossbow with rupture and silence is the best class in the game for solos by far. The only thing that can beat it is god aim, but try hitting a double jump rogue with maxed speed spamming throwing knives while your bow is pulled... yeah, if you miss, you're 5 poison stacked and 1-tappable.

Even IM said in their company 1v1s, nobody can beat rogue.

HR mobs still take 20 swings to kill and kill you in 1-2 hits. P2W Cash grab subscription payments every wipe. My good god this isn't even remotely the game I originally bought.

And god forbid you try to enjoy your evening and try and fight some other players to get their loot when 3 other teams hiding in the dark waiting for the fight to be over because the map is so ridiculously small

Honestly they need to get rid of all movespeed augmentation in the game and pack it into abilities instead, give people dashes (1-2 stacks on cd) to outplay with and dodge important abilities. Buff slows, add things like grapple pulls, bat-erangs, grappling hooks, more slows, blinks, CC lockdowns (buff holy bind for example to 2 second, with a DR cooldown), peeling tools, etc.

The game needs more variety in combat than who has more Movespeed stat and throwables.

This game has almost too many things to fix for a functional game, but to fix the PvE:
1. Create a "Dominance" stat. Gearscore directly effects your dominance stat. Dominance multiplies damage delt to PvE, and reduces the amount of damage taken from PvE.

• Red mobs + should not be easily killed with a low "Dominance" level. You must have full greens-blues before you can kill them like you would now. Nightmare requires blues + purples. End-game raids require purples/legendarys minimum.
  2. Have one red portal in the center of the map. Have it guarded by 3 next-layer level mobs. (Can only defeat them with enough dominance score, or it will take a long time.)
• Can only open the portal after defeating all 3 defenders.
  3. Use Unreal Engine's procedural generated content feature and fully randomize the maps and modules.
  4. Start creating cool and interesting random events, golden/death rooms (needs to actually have crazy loot to make it a huge dopamine rush to find, like 10 marvelous chests), rare npcs/travelling vendors with chance of amazing gear tailored to your build, mini-bosses, puzzles, upgrade anvils, enchantment tables, etc. to bring the PvE to life. Randomly generate them throughout the map, giving adventuring and and checking the nooks and crannies feel rewarding.
  **5. Create style-defining set-bonuses for gear. **— This can coincide with stuff like rare vendors poping up with specific set pieces to a set that can only be obtained through finding all the unique vendors.
• Set bonuses should change the way you play significantly like: holy spells now count as blood magic, stealing health from enemies or allies.
• Or arrows now heal allies. — Fire spells now leave flames behind for 3 seconds, etc.
  6. Create an end-game raid (dragon) — Must muster up full legendaries and uniques to be able to withstand it's fire with a high enough dominance score. Drops BiS set gear for the season.
  7. Professions/skill trees 4 builds, weapons, armors, etc.

what part is a bait? This game lacks progression and layer congruence. At the start of every wipe you rush to the bottom layer by running past everything, and then killing the end game bosses basically naked... The game is done in the first week of every wipe. They need to make it so players have to progress on each layer first.

It's like being able to go to the final boss of any game instantly, and just know the moves and you beat the game instantly... The game is no longer fun at that point.

Without creating a feeling of gear granting you the power to delve deeper in a real way, you lose all sense of PvE progression. You wind up just skipping everything right to the boss. They need to make it so you have to progress in gear and level to be able to do the harder levels to continue upgrading your gear. You have to do the "gear test" to open the reds, so rats can't just keep running down there and looting up.

The other solutions to slow down PvE progression are all pretty bad for the game like delaying red portals or something.

Slows down the game so that gear progression doesn't go from zero to BiS almost instantly into the wipe. Having a higher dominance score makes reds and nightmares much easier when you are maxed out, but much harder when you are low gear.

I don't see many other options to slow down PvE unless they like block layer two for a few weeks or something

I think overall pve design needs improved before anything else. But maybe have all gear scale pve dmg in some way(for hr, say elite pve multiplier) where you can still clear pve without as much gear as opposed to being unable, but it still gets easier with gear.

But for this to happen pve density needs to be taylored for each mode and adjusted for specifica modules

I think dark and darker is testing bots, like actually. I have gotten into a game with the curious Jane Fadnag. They were at first acting like any other timmy, chainlightining me, face tanking the mobs. she then died, and stayed in the game, spectating for the rest of the game, only to instantly leave when the last team member died. strangely, even thought there was no response from her that game , she queued again. the next game was the same, except, unlike before, there was no life, no movement, no response, nothing, for an entire match she stood, staring out into oblivion. I wrote poetry to her while waiting, as any sane man would do. she then left the instant the last person died.
