Can't gem vig. can gem flat hp. 3 vig on a chest piece or legs is the highest health roll you can get. but mainly you can gem health but not vig. so you can buy a vig pieces and gem health but not the other way around

yeah like I said I completely get the concept of both, especially if there's room to socket hp. what prompted this question is I am seeing certain rings with 2 vig that cost considerably more than rings with 3 (or even 2) hp despite the 2 vig rings having no socketable hp option (socketed true phys, AS and 1 all). So I thought maybe I was missing something but I guess they are just priced poorly?

max hp gives more hp than vig in general, so if a 2 vig ring costs more than a 2 max hp ring but they have the exact same sub stats (gemmed), that's just bad pricing.

really preference and what you think you need from the rest of your kit and how u play courtly dress if you need hp/dmg and arent melee fighting, arcane garb if you want more ms/dmg, mystic vestments if you just want more will, frock if u want more memcap and ms. personally I'm a courtly dress enjoyer cuz its cheap, light, and good base stats (except armor rating) so you arent paying out the butt for 3 vig.

Wizard is probably the best caster in the game then warlock then sorc and bard and rogue players just abuse that they are currently over tuned but honestly a well geared barb should violate them but honestly bard and rogue are slightly more op if they get the drop on someone with range first then they just go all in and usually full kill everyone regardless of class if they get in enough DMG

im gonna be honest as an incredibly new player i wouldve probably put bard and rogue really low on a tier list i feel like fighter is just way more tanky while also doesnt insane damage

i usually win against rogues and bards even when they r in good gear but i dont think i have EVER killed a geared fighter they feels immortal especially with second wind while being fast as fuck in full plate

Yeah it’s decent atm, I came back after a year break and had fun for a couple weeks mostly just doing squire lobbies. Solo is still cancer with rogues in gear lobbies but random fill squire trios can be a ton of fun for a while

Barb feels pretty shit compared to how it used to IMO. Which is a good thing tbh it was so braindead, you actually have to use a brain cell sometimes now to win fights

Like someone said it wins a decent amount of matchups in solos, though, and it’s not unplayable or anything you just have to actually land franciscas and know when to engage and disengage (and how to deal with longsword, something I’m not great at admittedly) rather than wearing the paint off your w key while you stat check with a felling axe for free

Then weight them for builds -- IE: You want to see will and vig together, or dex and vig together
And use that as part of the equation for determining what sort of skeleton piece of gear the player might get

If the overall weight of an item before its been identified is "X", then -- when a random modifier is added to the newly identified item, it will reduce its weight. The weight of an item is the overall chance a roll has to use to identify itself as max value. The higher the weight? The less chance the roll will be low. The higher the roll, the more the weight drops. As the weight drops, so too does the chance of the player receiving a double bis item (naturally).

They used to exist in a significantly friendlier state. Only in inferno would most mobs be nightmare which made sense. Now it’s like every mob even in ruins is nightmare and I think it’s a bit ridiculous how much power one singular mob usually has regardless of where you are in HR

The problem is the servers freeze them in their locations if they're not being rendered by players. If you have mob agro and it breaks agro during the train, it will generally stay wherever it was until a player gets close enough to let it go back to its spot. Where it will then slowly walk back to its home until someone else picks up its agro or it gets stopped.

The issue you're referring to is LOD and server sided.

Also a tip on his transition phase: Get in the habit of doing the actual dodge method for the transition attack, don't just run from it. You'll find instances where he's between you and getting away from it, and you're gonna die if you don't know how to dodge. I always just dodge it.

Idk I do feel like as long as it isn't being abused to farm rare loot risk free I have no issue with pve mode really, I do think it helps people who are genuinely trash enjoy the game, it's just very obvious when 20% of the community is playing it they're abusing it (also HR pve gotta be the dumbest thing I have ever heard of in my life, just thinking about that was a huge waste of time)

Sure but at the same time… the FUN in this game, as a hardcore title, comes from trying hard and getting better.

PvE is simply not engaging enough to keep ahold of the players who don’t want to be a part of the grind, and can just be ignored. You either want to play this game or you don’t.

As you say, all PvE is “doing” for the community is giving a risk free farming zone.

Most of the excuses/reasons I see for it are:

• Doesn't want to waste time in lower statted gear
• Its a mental thing of looking good "not wanting to be in poor gear"
• (more commonly) Its a form of build expression and a step away from the mundane

Not really, it won’t help understand how the real game (high gear vs high gear) works.

Push and reset timing are critically important, and without competing on a more even field with equivalent it’s unlikely that a new player will develop the game sense to make that call in a split second.

ranger is no damage on the low end and way to much damage on the high end tho if u really think about it, me personally as a LS fighter with 1400 hrs on that specefic weapon i can easily win squire kit fights against blues and even purples if i play perfectly and LS doesnt even feel very strong rn
