Arc is in no way going to affect dark and darkers player count long term, dark and darker fills a niche no other game does. Arc will compete with tarkov, but only partially, as the content is good, but is limited with it being new. I guarantee that within 3 months itll be hovering around 20-30k players

Norms GC is great, but HR GC is horrid. The mobs are the most annoying in the game, the loot is mid compared to the other maps, and again, I feel the modules are a bit dated compared to Ice and crypts

i think pve is popular cause it takes away the tension. you can log in, put on some music, farm away. in pvp you are ALWAYS on the edge. especially when you dont play often, and you dont have very good gear, but this gear you have is still the best you can afford and you dont want to lose it. thats why im playing pve sometimes. and you can quest in peace without getting disturbed.
also some people, and i count myself as one of those, just dont like the idea of risking everything for a pvp encounter. i need like a week of farming to even get close to a kit the good players run. i simply dont play enough for that kind of wealth. is it so wrong to save that money for example for a good arena kit, where i dont have to constantly fear to lose it and still have a ton of fun pvp-ing?

barb definitely has more hp than fighter and their skills are not bad lol, if you're playing solos use rage to get on someone then achilles them and they can't move at all, if you're playing barb in trios it's gonna be rough

barb is Powerful ..... you go full Vigor builds for High HP or , you can go full Axe perks for crazy Axe power headshots, but they usally swing slower so you need to time your stuff perfect .... and MASTER the throwing axe or if you dont use the throwing axe , you need to hold your corners when your being shot at and try and get some nice Ambush attacks in ..... Savage roar is good for catching people and achilles strike

ty, @rich walrus managed to get 2 kills in my first match using archilles instead of reckless strike its acutally so helpfull, i still struggle incredibly hard to get ontop of people though, i feels like most classes are just way faster than me even when i put my weapon away, and especially once i pull out my weapon

once they turn i can usually outrange them with zweihänder though and 2-3 shot them

Well, people are at it again with teaming in solo normals. Before teaming in normals was allowed because during those times, it was squire only lobbies. Now people can bring in gear, and outgear and outnumber solo players. It's especially worse when they are both YouTubers who preemptively click the start button at the same time so they can try to get in the same lobby. Then they proceed to camp boss four times in a row in goblin caves.
Their names are FadahOnYoutube and monkay21k. Be aware they are plaguing the US West servers teaming heavily. Again I've gone through this four times now. The same names, just different boss rooms each time.

blocking is still a fine option, completely depends on what you are blocking. just expect to run into moments where you feel like something should block and it doesn't and it's completely fine. happens to anyone playing counterattack fighter on stream every single day where they run back a clip where an attack literally just clips through their shield entirely and hits them

The issue is that barbs and other classes can just straight up bypass blocks or parry's with certain weapons aka club or rapier

If you try and face hug and look down into the neck area you never give a parry and it usually counts as headshots because the swing goes through the arm and headshots
