It is. I mean, normals is "balanced" for pvp in the sense that extreme builds can't happen as much, so everything is sorta flattened. There's also less of an adrenaline rush since there isn't much risk, but that comes with the territory of using lesser gear.

Barely any other games have it.
It will do nothing to the cheaters (which I never encountered btw). if it will block their cheats, they will find others that will work.

And even if I find a way to fix it somehow, it will cause trouble with my dual booted linux.

So there is absolutely no up sides to this change. its not gonna affect cheaters in the long term. only very short term.
However it will affect sooooooo much % of the player base that won't be able to play.

Game literally has aim assist, and even the engine itself is build on "bullet magnetism" where you can literally aim off a hitbox and bullets still travel to the hitbox magically, lmao. That's the exact opposite of good gameplay, and don't even get me started on object corners being invisible walls to most bullets where you are just shooting invisible concerete you can see through. It literally has the worst gunplay I've ever played and its an afront to FPS's in general.

You can't even headshot with some weapons because the game has literall auto-bullet travelling or some aim assist, lmao.
