Anyone else experience the Halberd getting more than 1 hit per swing animation? At least 4-5 times last night in squire to riches I could hear the halberd hitting skeletons, gargoyle, and slimes 1 extra time per hit and the damage was definitely stacking as I was single shotting enemies that normally take 2 or 3 hits

Biggest change needed is Gear based matchmaking. I miss it greatly. Not really a fan of squire. but it feels better to play casually then norms end season.

Also if they just got rid of the +1 damage modifiers I feel like overall it would be better for the game. Gets rid of those insane 2-3 hit deaths from full hp.

Or maybe just change how they are calculated. Cause it feels like they are calculated after base damage seperately rather than as a whole.

the switching itself takes pretty much no time, so it's either practice or muscle memory, the cast time depends on things like spell casting and a little in action speed AFAIK

It's the class with the second highest skill floor IMO, with only the druid having a harder entry for basics, but the more you play the more natural it becomes

I had an idea, so I'm going to share it here. I'm sure it's probably been suggested before.

What if, when you hit the red radial section of the lockpick skill check which opens the chest instantly, you also got to keep the lockpick? In addition to the in-game value, I like it from a flavor perspective in that your deft skill leaves the lockpick unbroken.

Rogue has access to an obscene amount of Armor Pen which can do the trick, or you can go with Smite Cleric for the combination of Armor Pen and Magic Damage. Reckless Attack from Barbarian is scary, and any caster among Wizard, Sorc, and Warlock can also be rough fights for the Fighter player.

It's interesting how Fighter vs Fighter keeps Fighter in check in that it limits how far you can index into stats which are better against your worst matchups. Sacrifice too much PDR to pick up stats better suited at dealing with a Wizard, and suddenly you're at a disadvantage when you do run into that other Fighter.

@craggy vine Hit 'R' while spectating to start a report in-game. There's also a Report button at the end of a match which you can use. They say the best method is to submit a ticket through Discord somewhere with video evidence, if you have it, but I've gotten a whole lotta folk both temp- and perma-banned through in-game reports and can confirm they work, albeit slowly.

If you play for a few hours, in norms and hr, youll get a feel of what's up, but every class is good if you know how to use it. I don't think too much has really changed in the past few months that are massively different or significant.

2-3 months? That's a much more defensible desire not to read.

Everyone gained 10 health. Sorc got buffed then nerfed. Ale slows you while drinking and Shriek got gutted. Reckless attack isn't quite as busted as it was since it lost 10% Armor Pen twice. Longsword Riposte got nerfed damage-wise but later buffed speed-wise on the 2nd hit.

I think that mostly covers what's different now than it was when you played last. The people are largely correct in their "play what you want" argument in the sense that pretty much everything is viable right now.

So typically weapons slow you down by the value they say, for example, barbarian should be slowed down by the 40% it says on the weapon itself. Without skills even in use they regularly run people down who have no weapon out at all. Either A) is barb permanently and forever immune to weapon slow or B) does it always have 50%+ more move speed enabled vs any other class

the issue isnt barb not being slowed from swinging a weapon. the issue is that their weapons have ridiculously long hitboxes and when they hit you you become hit slowed significantly

and those same weapons have a generous attack combo like bardiche. after the first vertical chop hits you the following stab is basically impossible to dodge

ive always REALLY LOVED how getting hit makes physica reverse and pushes you the opposite direction of the force applied to you from the weapon; back into the weapon more allowing it to hit you more. lololololol

The class is still good, it just needs more fun perks/songs. You have an insane stat ramp from songs without perks included, can open locked chests for free, without needing a perk slot, longest invis in the game that resets monster aggro completely, -10 MS slow and 3-4 move speed buffs.

the invis from bard is the dumbest thing in his kit, just turns the whole team into landmine rogues. Ms slow was nerfed with the changes to ms so now that -10 is negligible and like we said the majority of bards buffs are for bard only not the team which defeats the purpose of the class.

like don't get me wrong I don't think he's unplayable, but what his class is supposed to be is lost to Ironmace.

The changes to move speed, buffed the -10ms song?? There's less access to move speed as a stat so any buff or debuff is stronger by proxy.

I mainly played bard because it was good in PvE and PvP with low gear. This change just makes it so I can farm bosses on other classes in solo and not feel like I'm wasting time. Hopefully they give bard some more tools that make it exciting to play solo and in teams.

Ruins has the curse, but Crypts and Inferno has bugs. Goblin caves has rockfall and Ice has Frost.

It’s really as simple as just once she leans her head back she spawns 4 pillars that shoot at you and you just avoid that, and if she starts holding her right hand up you just crouch and hit her, if she spawns a slow flying orb don’t let it touch you and kill it, and grab ghosts when she screams pretty much everything else is self explanatory
