Telling people to quit playing Dark & Darker because they prefer a different game mode than you is the exact kind of toxicity that rots this community from the inside out. HR is the least popular game mode, most people enjoy easy in/easy out Battle Royale style gameplay that doesn't involve trading stonks and doing algebra before queueing into the next match. S2R is always full of people, many of them long-time veterans with thousands of hours, who just want to have fun without the extra nonsense.

to be fair, I know for 100% certainy that there are a lot of players who que into HR together, mostly solo's and they will make sure to never be in the same module, and one person sits in a dark corner and after the few other teams have killed each other or died. they come and scoop the gear.

Frankly idgaf what the game is "supposed to be" in regards to everyone's hard-on for pvp

I like the core gameplay, the only other game that comes remotely close to the feel of how this one plays is Dead Island, and even that's a far cry.

It's obnoxious that there's a PvE mode to this game that has genuinely enjoyable PvE combat/gameplay, with it being literally the only game of its type, and people who just want to earn rewards playing the game but in PvE without having to deal with no-life sweats in rmt gear get crapped on for wanting to enjoy the game for what makes it unique instead of just being Yet Another PvP Shooter (but this time with swooords)

you can grind to demigod without risking a single piece of gear nowdays. only risk is some gold for the entrance and heals. gear is decently easy to get from the dungeon and if you want to farm you can try to avoid players in multitude of ways. farming spots that are not popular pvp spots is rather easy. holy purification cleric goes hard in hr if you just wanna farm. alot of ppl see you use that skill and they don't bother with you.

There is no time for riches. Just went all the way to inferno and extracted, did both bosses, left with two pairs of boots and my expressman had 2 green gems and 2 blue along with 2 blue frannys. There is zero time to loot your kills are the zone comes in on ruins, zero time to hit pile after boss. Yet they make the mockery of having the SK room in inferno. These devs miss the mark everytime. They always think harder is better. Like you said, the mode becomes harder, the loot becomes signficantly less. IF they added HR loot in inferno maybe there would be an incentive, but still, the mode is now cheeks in it's current state. The maps need more time and less damage from the zone. You should be able to out heal the zone if your just using heals. So many issues IM at it again
