When I do go in with just squire/maybe a weapon as a real StR - I am about 90% more likely to engage people just for the F of it... usually as barb then to and only playing squire dwarf barb for the rp... catching people phew.

I got a guy to back down from a pile once just talking rp smack in proxy declaring it to be my gold and waving my felling ax in his general direction. Very fun :D

Wiz has some of the worst matchups. rogue, iron will barb. just not a great duelist

fighter is top, rogue is top, ranger in the right hands. i'd say these 3 are what you should focus on if you want to solo

It has an animation to look out for, I assume its the icicle path attack you're talking about? If so, the demon starts doing some air bending type animation and a path will be visible in the sky/on the ground. Just look around a little more next time

the pattern is 3 (or 4 i forget) snowball wave throws then he throws gangsigns for 2 seconds, then repeats the cycle.
to play around the snowballs, run to a stairway and make him stop in the middle of it. you can be under or above him here and he will never hit you. if you have a shield, you can simply just circle left and block the first snowball before atking him since only 1 snowball can hit you if you move left.

his handcasting spell drops ice from above you so you cannot stay still but you can freely move around while he's on the stairs unable to hit you. wait the spell out by moving around a bit then go back to hitting him. repeat for 2 or 3 cycles and even HR ones will die before he does the 4th gangsign if you do it right.

And mobs also hit a lot harder. The new mob attacks can sometimes be hard to learn too.

350 hours in fighter, multiple HR solos in PvE, I have a 1500 solo queue Arena rating as fighter a 1700 Elo cleric rating. Take that for what it’s worth, Fighter only wins those 90% if they play slayer and have a bow, Arming sword, and shield. LS is in a sad state for PvP.

Fighter is not Meta my friend. Fighter should be the counter to any Meta build, as that’s what the class is for, fighting. That’s not the case, Fighter at anytime should be viable for any scenario in a test of skill. No amount of skill changes Ranger’s ability to 3 tap 50% PDR fighter kits. That’s obscene.

Fights take too long, it’s less decisive game play and skill, more who has the patience and tolerance to kite around and use up the 5 stacks of bandaids they brought in. Not the type of PvP I’m into.

Resetting every instance of PvP as a LS fighter because my opponent turns 90° strafes without pressing the S key and gets just enough space that they’re out of melee range. Literally the most viable play for any non melee class which is anyone but Barb and Fighter at this point.

I refuse to run Halberd. Not every weapon should have the ability to block. LS was LS BECAUSE 2H riposte. Now every 2H is LS but better.

Tbh just upset my favorite play style got watered down and walked over. Fighter LS Plate had its time in the sun, now I’m just fodder.
