Well my line of thinking is that even with a top-demand legendary item, your gold spend by the time it comes out even near bis is going to exceed what you could buy it for in most cases. With uniques, you only need to roll a single on-stat before you break even or profit in terms of item value

Well, you could use spell reflect and the other shield perk that gives 75 armor and magic resistance when standing in defense.
You could use the 'use all weapons' perk and carry a bow - very effective for ranged opponents!
You could/should have some magic resist potions on hand.
Closing with the wizard is hard, having a survival bow/recurve bow to counter their range is a must from my experience.
INVEST IN MAGIC RESISTANCE GEAR!

Already in the game:

• Old Rusty door has a Golden Chest at the top of the tower

• Treasury's golden door has a Golden Chest in the room parallel/mirror to it

• Mystical Gem room has a Golden Chest near the Skelly mage

• Ice Abyss should have a Golden Chest in the little area under the Stone Guardian (but it's just a Large/Lionhead).

• There used to be a Lionhead/Large in the Skull key's tower/wall at the top (not sure what it is now)

• Lion Head in the Old Captain's Ship, could be Gold Chest

• Armory has a Lionhead chest, arguably not worth a Gold Chest, but I'm okay since the Old key is fine just spawning in Ruins.

• There might be a golden chest somewhere in the Big Wheel module, perhaps under the 'normal' floor. Otherwise, the room already has a pile so no key is fine.

Yeah don't fight it in melee and just shoot it in range. The demon forms gradually drains HP. Also if he hits you in melee he life steals. so just run and use range until he is forced to turn back.
