a lot of it is just learning the right spacing. if you circle left you need to get close enough he swings then back up and listen for the leather squeaking sound. that's when you can move in and hit him once your twice. if he does the one handed overhead you just strafe left and hit his head then back up. the trick is to stay close enough he doesnt scream or move but far enough he wont hit you. right side is kinda similar and i'm a lot less knowledgeable on that side. i just know you bait out the first swing and duck the second and potentially third

Please remove things that gold nodes and boss drops from adventure mode. It's impossible to safely learn the bosses cause every lobby is full of people just running down the bosses in the first 2 minutes.

game was always advertised as a hardcore PVPVE dungeon crawler. Not PVP alone (arena), not PVE alone (adventure mode). I think the game excels when both "modes" are combined into one. The AI from the monsters is extremely simple so when you learn their moves game becomes boring without the chaos that comes from random players being able to fight you.
