Yo I tested dark offering dmg with 80% mag power bonus and I'm not sure if its just me but the dmg numbers feel a bit bad. Here are the numbers I got without any add mag and 80% mag power bonus on dummies:
Pre dark offering, Crystal sword headshot 25 base 31 mag, CoP 25 dmg 2 per tic, Dark bolt headshot dmg (no shards) 45.
With dark offering: Crystal sword headshot 36 base 44 mag, CoP 35 dmg 2 per tic, Dark bolt 63 headshot
idk If its because of no add mag on the build but a barb being able to hit for 130 on headshot on mid gear while I have to do this gimmic to get a fraction of his power just seems very off

right now with reduced stats on items you aren't getting over 3 of a stat on a split stat item anyway and you can get +3 on dropped items rolls, so you could get some real nice studded tbh with +3 dex rolls pretty cheap and be happy with it / roll the other stats as needed

Paul is in charge now, supposedly, and the game is in the best state it has been in in 2+ years. It just took us losing 65% of the playerbase for it to happen. But good marketing and continuous improvement + word of mouth can revive the game pretty "easily" if done right.

Meta is already melee heavy. Ideally the healthiest state the game could be in comp-wise is a ranged damage dealer like ranger/wiz, frontline like fighter/barb, and support like cleric/druid. They could definitely revitalize caster warlock and make it viable in trios but they dont seem to understand perk design.

Heavily map dependent. If it's an open map melee dominates, especially with a cleric. A bridge-like map will favor double ranged. Not exactly black and white. But it's much easier and less skiill dependent to just run a melee hybrid comp and roll the dice on what map you get for most players.

They wanted to test how the map would behave without so much fighting density, but its still pretty much the same if not worse, everything is Bridge/Graveyard. Just takes slightly longer to get there, but for everyone - so the third/fourth party is still the same.

If you're losing to double range comps in more than 50% of scenarios you're doing something dead wrong in a HR environment. The game wasn't intended to run it down on 2-3 melee slop classes and hold M1. Melee is supposed to frontline majority of the time unless you're buffball/rogue (rip rogue)
